Vladimir walks by carrying a hardcover book over 100 pages long in his hands. He sits down in a nearby reclining chair and opens the book to the last page he read. The book it question seems to be in Russian and the cover depicts 2 men wearing large coats standing in a destroyed city with one handing a strange item which consists of two disks, the entire scene has some sort of blue tint to it. Vlad himself is wearing a simple brown parka and a matching ushanka with snow boots. He seems to be very relaxed as well.

Jack's sky blue eyes darted up from his book, which had nothing on thy cover. Just leather. But, anyways.. he found something.. familiar about Vlad - but he just couldn't place his finger on it. The German then shrugged, giving up on trying to find out as his eyes descend back down to his book. He then spoke, his voice shrill and scratchy, "Good day to you."

He looks up from his book and nods before speaking with his usual accent. "Hello. Mind telling me what book you are reading? My brother was a collector of books and I'd like to add to his collection."

"Oh, it isn't your usual book," The German spoke as he held up his book, turning it around to show the writing. It had very poor handwriting, each letter being scribbled on the thick, slightly yellow paper. It was in German, too. "It's a diary thing I write."

"Oh, I don't know German so I guess it wouldn't be good in our collection and people would question my sanity if I started collecting diaries all of a sudden." He says the last point in a joking tone and moves onto the next sentence. "How's Germany treating you? My homeland was hit with nuclear weapons some time ago so we can't visit other countries as easily."
