In Working Order Easis had been busy settling into the Dojo since he had arrived. His one and only objective for now was: Figure out how to get the staff and its crystal back together. To be entirely honest he had no idea how to put these back together, being the only mage he knew didn't help plus he had very limited knowledge of magic. His entire race was never interested in magic, they were too held up on technology and their own survival in the harsh land they lived in. He knew he needed to find a spot to work for a long time, so, since it was a nice day, he decided to do his stuff outside. He found a nice spot just outside of the Dojo near the edge of the mountain's drop point. He sat down with his staff laid beside him while he opened up the container which held the staff's crystal hidden from all. It was a few hours later now and Easis had not been successful. He had pretty much given up at this point, the sun was almost set, painting the sky brilliant colors of orange and yellow. He let out a disappointed sigh, he was disappointed with himself, so he tried no further and witnessed the sun disappear below the horizon.
open
• the distinct flapping of wings can be heard as a man lands close by closing his huge silver wing the man is tall and slender with light brown hair and hazel eyes. On his back is a sliver and gold staff that has snakes are that wrapped around each other. The man doesn't seem to notice him at the moment as he folds his huge silver wings.

 • Easis doesn't acknowledge his presence, simply staring at the sunset, tired and out of ideas. He didn't know how to fix it, how would he find someone to fix the staff?

 • the man notices him and comes walking over to where he is sitting on the ground. He notices the staff sitting on the ground wondering what is wrong with it. "Hey what's wrong with your?"asks the man.

 • Hello, my friend! You look like you could use some help! The cloaked figure came up from in front of him, a bright smile on his face. From the sigils on his forest green cloak, it was clear he was a mage of a high order; the man seemingly radiating a terrifyingly powerful aura. His step was calm, the black combat pants on his legs ripped in places, revealing the plate armour underneath. His beige top also bore some armour, and his golden brown eyes looked Easis over with eagerness to learn his story. The sun is almost down! What is the matter?

 • A chill went down the Elinski's spine in the presence of the other mage's aura. Easis had never felt anyone's aura except his own and he never expected the first other one he felt to be so strong. He then cleared his throat after looking back at the figure behind him, scared of the great power so very close to him... "H-Hello...I...I a-actually need some uh...help with fixing my staff...It's broken..." His fear was made apparent in his influent speech that was almost always perfect.

 • He sensed the man's comfort, closing his eyes for a few seconds. The power seemed to subside, the pressure in the air leaving with it. With a careful eye, though, he inspected the staff; he knew a thing or two, so he had an idea how he could help. Hm... looks different than anything I've ever seen before. You may need some binding runes... and a few transistor runes as well... that should get it done.... Alon squatted down beside him, smiling warmly to him. Nothing to be afraid about, my friend. We're all on the same side here. May I? Alon gestured to the staff, wanting to look at it a bit closer.

 • "Uh...yeah, sure." He picks up the staff and the crystal with it then holds out both objects to the other mage. Easis was still afraid, obviously this man next to him was powerful, very powerful, and if Easis remembered one thing from his parents it was to always be on the offensive. But how would he now? He was handing his only weapon over to the most powerful magic-user he had ever heard of and/or met. However, it seemed that all he wanted to do was to make him feel safe and to help him, so he just did as asked for now..

 • Smiling, Alon took the staff with careful hands. He sensed the man's uneasiness and aimed not to weigh in too much; setting a possible ally off would be the last of things he'd like to accomplish today. Looking it over, he nodded, looking at the crystal as well. I can fix this in a bout an hour or so. Depends on the crystal type; I'm not too sure about these high output crystals, but hey, I can make do. What do you say? Flashing a grin, he looked at the man warmly; he extended his right hand in a gesture of friendship. The name is Alonfé, or Alon for short. I'm just a simple mage, really. I'm ready to fix this if you'd like, though. His aura screamed that he was more than what he said, but whether Easis pursued that lead or not, Alon started to get to work fixing the staff with a mindset of determination.

 • Easis shook Alonfé's hand, finally, someone to be his friend and to help him. Easis smiled back a Alon as well, he most likely couldn't tell he was since his full helmet was on. "Sorry for being so nervous, I've never met another mage before and I never thought I'd meet one like you..." Easis undid some locks on his helmet and exhaled as he removed his insanely large helmet from his head then took a deep breath of fresh air from this new world. The first time he had removed his helmet in a while, he had gotten tired of seeing the inside and feeling the heat that his mental cage produced. "My name is Easis, I am a...minor mage, I have very much to learn..."

 • "Meet a mage like me"? That's quite flattering haha! And a minor mage you say? I deny that; I will just not simply accept it. Every mage is grand in their own way, and you are as every bit as grand as any other. Idly, the mage sat on the ground across from Easis, smiling to him before returning his focus to the staff. He drew runes in the air, light pink lines of light trailing beyond his finger as his quick strokes made complex and confusing symbols. After being seemingly satisfied with it, he grabbed it air and crushed it; the etheric dust sprinkled over the crystal, making it shine lightly. Continuing his work, Alon kept talking, not raising an eye from his work. Where did you learn, Easis? I'm very curious; as I was self taught I never visited these acadamy's about the arcane. Have you been to one?

 • "I have never been to one, never will. I believe one cannot be forced to learn one way even if it's the most convenient." Easis was entirely calm, used to Alonfé's aura already and carefully observing his every action. "How long have you been learning? I haven't been for too long...or at least I don't think so..." Easis, as always, was having a hard time making sure he remembered anything correctly. His excessive use of magic had begun to eat away at his mind, as all magic had a cost and his was the greatest.

 • Ooh, that looks bad. *You see Mortar sitting next to you, motioning to the staff* Had you been here about a few weeks ago a friend of mine could have helped with that

 • True, but you're here now, so you may need to learn about the members here. I'm sure you can do it; aren't Eliksni really smart or something?
