I have a possibly dumb question but do you have to complete this in one raid run? Like if you have collected all 4 monitors and didnt beat the final boss for the 5th will your monitor progress still be saved or do I have to start a fresh again?

Unfortunately you have to start fresh. Or find a group at aksis that already has all the monitors (probably a struggle with low light characters)
