WotM Most Cheesed Raid Ever?
95% of players that have beaten the raid and already obtained the exotic were only able to do so through the numerous youtube/internet videos and guides made avaliable mere hours after the raid became active.
Kids talking about how they "earned" their raid emblems and exotic. Lol.
When you cheat on an exam and get 100% I dont think you "earned" it. Same principle here.
Congrats to all those that went in blind and actually did earn their victory.

The only cheese I've seen so far is the one for the Siege Engine. VoG and CE had way more cheesy bits than this raid. And as for the Outbreak Prime quest, that's kinda the way things go in the internet age. Developers embed a math-geek puzzle in their game that only 0.1% of the player base could ever solve and the rest of us sit back and await the inevitable guides. You should have seen the puzzle put into Battlefield 4 for the Phantom assignments. How the hell anyone solved that one is beyond me.

Oh oh! I earned mine!! Went in blind.. Came out victorious 9 hours later!! Oh oh pick me pick me!!!! I don't feel special for not watching videos before the raid. It was just a fun thing that we only get once a year now.. I also don't have any hard feeling for people that needed to watch videos. It's still difficult to get everyone to communicate.. A video isn't going to do that for you..

Pushing atheon off the cliff, cheesing Templar and oracles with icebreakers from the cliff, the entire crota raid, so to answer your question no it's not the most cheesed raid.

1 ReplySince when was watching youtube videos a cheeze? And did you forget pushing atheon/Templar off the edge, hiding on the hobgoblin rocks during the templar fight, and one man cheezing atheon? There's your most cheezed raid ever. Even if watching youtube videos was a cheeze, don't forget people learned these cheezes in vault of glass through watching videos.

7 RepliesI'm sorry what? If you look something up on the Internet, it's not "cheesing" or cheating. Same if you go on YouTube to understand a math concept you don't quite understand the day before a test. It's not cheating. It's using your current resources to a maximum potential. If you think that WotM is in any way the most "cheesed" raid, you obviously weren't a year 1 player. I still solo Crota's End every single week because every single checkpoint is cheesable.

Sorry I don't have days to figure out 1200 codes and turn it into an image. Guess by doing all the steps I didn't earn my exotic. Someone did it for me, you're right. By finding out the fourth monitor Datto held my controller and beat the raid twice for me.

After reading this im not entirely sure if you know what a cheese is. (In a videogame) The only cheese ive seen in wotm is to skip the death machine. But most do it regular because its fun. This is probably the least cheesable raid out of all, so i dont get your complaint. The way to get the exo quest is the intended way to do it...!!

People going in having seen a video on how does not a cheese make. They're just copying someone else's strategy. The fact that people were soloing Crota before House of Wolves makes it the cheesiest raid ever.

I would love to do the raids/quests blind but sadly I just do not have the time. In order for me to obtain the gear and be ready for IB, nightfalls, etc, I have to read guides and try and beat the quests as fast as possible with my limited time to play.

I don't get the problem, people play a certain way, others don't. personally, I haven't watched any Youtube videos, and I don't want to, it doesn't mean I look down on the people who did.
