"Might wanna hurry. It helps, but it won't last forever. I'd give you some more stuff to help, but all I have left is healing powder and some bitter drink, and all that stuff only works on adults. Also, I'll walk with ya up to the Dojo. I'll show you where the clinic is."
[b]I was very adamant in this point. I wanted to make sure this kid got the attention he needed. Worst come to worst, is at least be able to try the healing powder. Probably wouldn't work, though.[/b]

[i]Silently inspecting the child after the man had injected him with the Stimpak, the woman only sighed heavily as she stared down at the child's pale face, the snout of the lion helm pointed right at his open mouth. His breath began somewhat steadier, but he was still likely to die.[/i] "I...I guess I can follow you. I am Olivia, by the way. I came here, seeking the Dojo? My father, Ornstein...he told me I should seek out an...Isaac, was his name? He was an NCR Ranger, I believe."

"Found the kid in a pile of bodies...it was...nightmarish. Got his stomach sliced open...by a katana. I took a wild guess...thought it was the Vileblood." [i]She only sighed, staring down upon the child's still bleeding body.[/i] "We should get going...I don't want him to die."

[i]Still carrying the small child, the woman silently followed, looking up at the Dojo as the two went up the steps leading up to it. She was moving at a rather fast pace, determined to save the child in her arms.[/i]

"How's the kid holding up? He still stable?" [b]I looked over my shoulder at them, just to make sure the kid was still stable. After all, I didn't want a kid dying on my watch.[/b]

"Good, I guess..." [i]Although still bleeding quite heavily, the boy seemed to be stabilized for the moment, his breathing eventually getting smoother and steadier, although he sounded as if he was still in pain.[/i]

"He sure sounds better. God, I can't wait to get up to the Dojo, get to take this damn helmet off. Gets real stuffy in it." [b]I press a button on my helmet, gotta turn the night vision off first.[/b]

"I know how you feel...I've had this damn suit on for a while. Probably a week?" [i]She chuckles slightly, sighing after making her statement and going back to following the Ranger while still clutching the boy's body.[/i]

"I take the helmet off pretty regularly, but never the armor. Takes too damn long to put back on." [b]With our pace, we had made it around a fourth up the stairs. Wouldn't take much longer to get up to the Dojo. Nevertheless, I needed to know who this person was before letting them in.[/b] "What's your name, stranger?"

[b]I hoped that no one knew what Ranger Station Echo was... A station for Ghoul Rangers. I wasn't a Ghoul, but being stationed there didn't go over well with literally anyone. It was even worse than being stationed at Camp Golf, and that was shitty enough.[/b]

[i]She had no idea about the Ranger being assigned to Station Echo, and she wouldn't know what was so bad about it, either. Loosening her grip on the child's body, she kept following Grant, who was still leading her to the Dojo's gate. [/i]

Don't go there. Ever."

One could tell that she disliked it in some manner, but she didn't show any hatred. She began moving once more, still following Grant while tightening her grip on the body of the child in her armored arms.[/i]

[b]We had almost made it to the top of the stairs, when I saw one of them. Those bastards in crimson. He was all alone. It was my chance to kill one of them without the others even knowing I was here. I pulled my revolver from my hip, and took aim at the Legionnaire's head. I put my finger on the trigger, but stopped. If one of the others happened by while I was shooting the guy, they'd kill me and possibly Olivia and the kid, too. I sighed as I put my revolver away.[/b] "Come on. Let's hurry past these assholes."

She had never had the drive to kill someone before, so she didn't know what to think. To make matters worse, she didn't even understand why Grant wanted to kill the man. It just didn't make sense.[/i] "Who was that? And...why did you nearly kill them?"

"That was a Legionnaire from Caesar's Legion. Bastards have killed to many good NCR troops and civilians on the grounds of 'They're the enemy, let's slaughter them'. They also kill anybody they feel like, lash people to crosses, torture them, whatever the hell they feel like doing. Normally, I'd kill the bastard, but I don't wanna risk yours or the kid's life. I've already lost good people to the Legion, no more."
