[i] Lance flicked his head, the hilt between his jaws vanishing along with the blade near Damien before it was cut in half. Lance blurred backwards, putting several dozen feet between him and Damien and his rings. Lance was about to do something that he would most likely regret, but he had a losing problem. In that he didn't. A ball of shadow at the base of Lance's neck on his back coalesced, extending and taking shape rapidly into a long scythe and chain. A Kusarigama. The scythe floated in the air as the ball and chain wrapped around Lance, cloaking him in a tunnel of shadow, swords and all. When they dispersed and the Kusarigama disappeared, Lance was no longer standing there.. but Damien's wife. The woman Lance had seen so long ago in Damien's mind when getting his new seals, even though he didn't know her name, he knew that she was indeed Damien's wife and currently dead.
