I have to disagree, there are people who don't get on these forums or Reddit and just play. They will be infected without a thought as to why or what it's about. To negatively effect someone's account would be ridiculous and possibly irresponsible on bungies part. This is probably nothing more than a side game. Kinda like 6 degrees to Kevin bacon.
