This is interesting but I suspect a moot point. The fact that the traveler and exo stranger haven't been mentioned since the original Destiny supports the theories that the story has been ripped up and redone and honestly just plain -blam!-ed up. Why havn't the traveler or exo stranger been part of the story in any of the expansions since Destiny launched? When is the last time the speaker was even mentioned? After playing this game from day one, reading online theories such as this and reading through the Grimoire I have no idea what is going on. Bungie has made no effort to explain anything that happened in the original Destiny in the last two years. Don't get me wrong, The Taken King was great and it sounds like Rise of Iron is great but they have nothing to do with the traveler or the "main" story at all.
