You see thats different, Destiny is a loot based game, GOW is not and Halo Reach had a great hoard mode but it was not loot based. It's proven that Bungie can do it but when the game is based around loot and rewards, it makes it a bit difficult, and Destiny was repetitive to begin with. Most people will get bored by wave three.
