That term is used to bleed every last but if money from a situation before changing it. They got a lot of money from the start. Plus with game sales. The price tag they put on ttk was over the top for what it is.
They did this to bleed the cash cow dry. Rise of iron has more than ttk. But yet is not the price of a new game?
Why because the moment has passed to bleed the cash cow dry. Because there are other alternatives on the market now.

Not at all. Look at other games. They give the option. Like neverwinter. You can if you want to. But likewise if you don't you still can. They're going very well

Neverwinters engine isn't a 10th as complicated and robust as Destinys. Its hard to compare the two. Bottom line tou are begrudging Bungie making money and charging to play and I am not. If you hadn't gotten taken king it will literally cost 9.99 more, hardly robbery.

I have a feeling the development budget for Destiny blows that of Neverwinter out of the water.
