Arena Match // VR Combat Training // 7:45 PM // JT The Marshal's fists collided with the training target's chin as he drove the fleshy fist up, and a satisfying CRACK! Came from the now broken jaw of the target. JT stepped back into a boxing stance as he looked to the target before him, which reset itself. Training was how JT relaxed himself when he couldn't get his hands on a bottle of whiskey, and considering his daughter was shot and he was shown up as a Dojo Lieutenant in a fight, he was understandably furious. Another punch from the right hand, and JT jabbed the chin of the A.I that blocked, before the figure dissipated and another loaded in. A fighter to either beat JT in combat or talk him out of his training, most likely the former. ((Open :P))

  • "That sounds like one hell of a day, pal.. Care for some sparrin' to ease the stress? No guns, no swords. None of that bullcrap. Just you, me, and our augs, eh?" He said as be showed his right arm off, his forest green cybernetic had waving slightly while its owner grinned, chuckling all the while.

  • JT looked to his own skeletal prosthetic, which was a completely black shade with the exception of the blur insignia of the Cobalt Phoenix embroidered on the forearm. He considered using the drill inside as a one-up against Jason but decided against it, as JT thought cheating in a fistfight was the most cowardly act one could do. "Alright, lets go."

  • Jason swiftly got into a defensive stance, his two forearms guarding his face while he slowly inched towards JT, his ice blue eyes keeping a close watch on the cowboy. Then, once within range, Jason swung his cybernetic fist at JT's jaw, aiming for the right since his hand was on that side, the fist having slight studs on the knuckles, each painted a shiny black, contrasting to the rest of the forest green arm. • JT caught Jason's hand in his left by the wrist as he threw the punch, allowing him to push it to the side and drive his free hand's bottom to just behind the elbow. It was a pressure point and hoped to god the pain and pleasure sensors in Jason's Aug was functional.

  • Sadly for Jason, they were. Though.. I can't really write a reaction to it because, well, I haven't a clue how it feels. :p While JT pushed the bottom of his hand into Jason's arm, Jason swung his free hand down below, ramming it into JT's upper abdomen because hitting lower than that was very far beneath Jason. • JT stepped back but let go of Jason's arm when his fist collided with the abdomen. He threw a return punch with his right hand, directed at Jason's throat.

  •
That's dirty.
Jason stepped to the right - albeit just a little slow. JT's fist made contact with the very edge of Jason's throat, more sliding past it rather than hitting it - which still made the vulgar man recoil just ever so slightly. "Aiming for the throat, cowboy? That's real dirty, man," Jason said before he retaliated with another swift punch from his left hand, this one aimed at JT's center of mass.

  • JT shifted so that the fist hit the left side of his ribs, which typically were made of steel but right now it was pure flesh and bone like a non-Cyborg, admittedly putting a damper on his mood and a pain in his side. His response was another attempted blow to the head, this time coming from his elbow with a push from the same angle his fist went on previously.

  • Jason took the hit to the face, his nose breaking with a few sickening cracks. The marine stumbled been, his cybernetic hand clutching his broken nose with a soft groan, blood flowing from both nostrils like crimson rivers, rippling over Jason's lips and dripping from his chin like tears. The cyborg then moved his right hand to his side, swiftly shaking the blood off it, before waving JT over.

  • JT smiled and within seconds he was already sprinting full tile towards Jason, as a feeling of pain still remained in his side but the adrenaline prevailed. When he neared Jason, the augmented fist of JT's flew directly out at his opponent's throat.

Jason let himself drop backwards, making the fist just barely miss his bloody face. He then catched himself with both of his hands, and pushed himself back up onto his feet, blood still steadily streaming from his nose. "Stop aimin' for me throat, cowboy, might just hit li'l me and make me choke." Jason muttered, blood getting in his open mouth as he spoke. He then spat out a mix of saliva and blood, the filthy concoction hitting the ground.

  • "That's kind of the point," JT sarcastically remarked as he just stood there, his body starting to feel fatigue. It was a new experience seeing as he could only feel fatigue in his torso and head outside the arena, truly.

  • "And here I thought this was a friendly spar," Jason muttered to himself, his right cybernetic hand clenching tightly into a fist. He then thrusted it out forwards, aiming for JT's own throat.

  • And this, friend, was JT's retort. It was also his finisher move for fights. When Jason went to extend his fist, JT swerved to the left and used his right hand to grab Jason's wrist, the opposite side to JT's body. His left hand was brought to the elbow, where he pushed into the arm with immense force, using the strength of an angry Astares to snap the arm like a twig with his own metal limb.

  • Jason just gritted his teeth and groaned in pain when his arm snapped, a soft growl following. He then wrapped his left arm around JT's neck, pulling the cowboy close while simultaneously shutting off his airways, his right arm currently being mostly useless. "You.. I liked that arm.." The trooper grumbled in just annoyance, not even in anger. Just.. annoyance.

  • And so JT rammed his first to fingers into his opponents left eye, and his right thumb into the right eye. He could start to feel himself be choked out in the moment and eventually understood he might lose if he doesn't step it up.

Standing aside, leaning on the walls of the simulation room and dragging a cigar, smoke clouding the top of the large circular dome that both resided in. He watched the furious JT crack and annihilate his opponents with anger and distain, but not particularly caring. Sawyer was near-silent besides from extensive drags that blew wind down the cigar, ash falling out in plumes Ron the ember that danced at its tip. After minutes without JT recognizing Sawyer's appearance, the man spoke up. "You look mad," Sawyer said without extreme tone, or much at all. He wasn't a man of many words.

  • "Because I am." JT calmly yet coldly said in response to the smoking figure as he stretched his neck, and a glint of sadness flickered in his eye. He got a thought of his child, when the bullets entered her body and shrieks of pain rang out from her. He could still hear the screeches in his mind from the young woman. "Training and drinking, that's how I get my mind off things."

  • Sawyer had picked up on the flicker of remorse and sorrow that shine in JT's eyes for just a split second, knowing something to be wrong, as well as JT's cold, uninviting tone. He walked to the cowboy and let his cigar drop, crushing it under the sole of his combat boot and went to an adjacent combat doll. He unsheathed his sword, the sounds of metal sliding against metal shrill in the air, soon the potatoskin dummy without a leg, wool filling pouring from its missing appendage. Sawyer continued to slash at the dummy, talking between hits. "What's the matter, friend? Seems like you can use a run of the mouth." Sawyer attempted to console the lieutenant, sounding as sincere and understanding as possible, though he was. Speech didn't come easy to him, though. Words spilling out of his mouth like vomit or without anything to say, a mute.

  • JT was tired off the fabricated persona of a badass that he built up for himself ever since entering the Dojo, though he did enjoy being both feared and respected by his peers since day one. A single tear shed from his eye and rolled down the synthetic flesh of his left cheek as a single thought came to his mind, and then a second eventually took place. And so another target formed and a Gladius sword formed in his left and right hands, where he proceeded to hack and slash at a dummy as the mental anguish was dulled and he focused on physically perfecting his stance. "Daughter got shot and in that same day an old rival comes back to fight."

Sawyer was still for JT's answer, still focused on his own fight. The sword slashed the chest of his dummy, limbs all but one leg separated from the rest of their frame, as Sawyer drew his magnum revolver and sank one bullet into the head of his opponent, a hole in its forehead that rose with smoke. A shell hit the floor with a clang as the barrel shifted to the left, and the gun was singled back into its fine leather holster. Sawyer then waited for another to simulate, turning to JT. "That's rough man." Internally, Sawyer had scolded himself; his attempts to sound more understanding had ultimately failed. The words he spoke were coarse, abrasive, not meaning to sound in such a way. He put his palm to the back of his neck in embarrassment and turned to watch as the next dummy appeared.

  • JT allowed a second target to spawn in for himself as he spun in a one hundred and eighty degree spin, and allowed himself to drive the blade through his opponent's throat. A target spawned behind him again and JT spun while ripping the blade out, allowing himself to decapitate the A.I target with one swift swing, as well as let the second blade tun through its knees. "Yeah." Was all he could mutter.

  • With a flurry of strikes all that was left of the new target was clumps of its filling strewn on the floor alongside thick, granular, coarse skin, riddled with thick holes. Even after the sucsessiob of attacks that reduced the practice dummy to fetters and scrap, Sawyer didn't look the slightest bit fatigued. Instead, he turned to JT, holding his sword loosely. "Y'know. A good sparring match had always cheered me up. What do you say? Up for a little fight?" Sawyer smiled and twirled his sword.
Wait, do you know what Sawyer looks like?
• ((That I do)) JT spin his Gladius swords in a circle as he stepped back from the man with the greatsword. He took a defensive stance by keeping one blade ahead of him and one in the air by his head, while he remained in a semi crouched position. Sawyer would be allowed first move. ((He's literally in the position for Skyrim dual wielders while idle lol))
