So after the 2.4.0 Destiny update it appears as if Bungie is allowing boots to be increased in light level and the Trespasser exotic side arm to come out of exotic special engrams. However, this seems like a ploy by Bungie to get Guardians who have saved their exotic engrams up for the release of Rise of Iron to pop them prematurely in the hopes of other exotics or higher light level gear to drop. This is not the case, and does give me hope that the exotic engrams I've saved to open at higher light levels when the Rise does come out...at least [b]until[/b] Bungie reads this post!
