I've a feeling the Xbox one won't be around for much longer, when the Xbox Scorpio releases. It doesn't make sense for Microsoft, to build such a powerful beast of a console, without phasing out the underpowered xb1.
Xb1 will hold back Scorpio, if they go for parity, equal framerates. By this time next year, the xb1 would've been out four years. That's how long the original xbox lasted and before the Xb360 came out.
The last gen was longer than usual, for a console life cycle. I can see a much shorter console life cycle in the future.
Every four year for a new console is ok with me, was at least a year before we started getting current gen only games on the PS4.
The days of long console cycles are behind us guys. I believe Microsoft, Sony are testing the waters with the mid-cycle console refresh, taking note of the conversion numbers.
I'd give two years at max after the Scorpio releases, before Microsoft start bringing out exclusive games for the Scorpio.
What do you think guys and is the Scorpio the end for Xbox one?

It'll likely be significantly higher in price. They'd do better to continue offering a "lower" and "higher" end XBox model. To be honest, I really hope it doesn't usurp the XBox. I want it to succeed but not prove so lucrative that manufacturers get a taste for that iPhone stream of product updates.
