THE DOJO

The Dojo. Located on the diverse planet of Tatakai, the Dojo consists of the largest gathering of fighters the universe has ever seen. Men and women from all different cultures, races and worlds come to train, compete and fight together. Many battles have been raged on its soil, but it remains standing. Here, one can write, fight and talk with other writers who seek to create stories with one another. All you have to do is start typing. The New Dojo(JOIN HERE!)
Join our group! Free of charge! I swear! https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Forum/1677784/0/3/0 USE THIS LINK IF THAT OTHER ONE DOES NOT WORK. https://www.bungie.net/en/Groups/Chat?groupId=1677784 Once you pass your test and have joined the group sign here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/215168136/0/0 NOTE: You do not have to be tested to join the dojo. Only to PvP.
Who we are
The dojo is an ENTRY LEVEL AND ONE OF THE ONLY PUBLIC RP THREADS. RP is A way of interactive creative writing. Where you can go on adventures, have fights and generally have fun. Think of dungeons and dragons, but its horribly imbalanced since there is not an experience system or dice. Its great! The Dojo loves different opinions, ideas and writing no matter if you are new to RP(roleplay) or extremely experienced. If you have an opinion to share about how to make the dojo better, contact one of the Sensei's that run the place (We would prefer this rather then excessive and unintelligent shit talking). Every work of writing is appreciated and accepted (shitposts…maybe not so much).
How we work(list of Admins included)
The dojo is run by a group of Sensei’s. These Sensei’s will make up most of the game changing decisions to benefit The Dojo. BUT Everyone's opinion matters a great deal. So the Sensei’s will make poll’s within the group for the members to vote and decide on big issues/ideas. Even then, the sensei’s will inform the group of changes and decisions made. The list of sensei’s are as follows: Inflatablepants/Pants(GONE ON HIATUS) The God-Eater/Cob Royalblade/Royal Fresh Cazberry/Vio nullCth/Cth And the leader of the dojo union: Tubbs
OUR GOAL
At the dojo, we want to provide an amazing place for you to improve on your writing in a fun way. We love new faces, and will accept you as soon as you walk up to the door. We also love other RP threads that have really awesome stuff, and we want to invite them all here so we can have a hub world of sorts. Whether this is through an interdimensional portal, space ships or whatever. We want everyone we can to be a part of this and interact with everyone! This way, you can meet people you never would have met before. If you are a leader of an RP group and are interested in this, please contact me so we can discuss further! I like discussing stuff!
RULES
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212678270/0/0
How to PvP
Player VS Player Is what the dojo is known for. Basically, you can fight each others characters with your own, to see who’s the best or to simply make some kick ass action. Please follow all the rules while you fight, so you can make it as badass as possible. In order to PvP you must be tested by a sensei, or a designated tester of the dojo. You can find out who is a tester by seeing "How we Work." Also, When you fight another player make sure that you always react to their move. The best way to do this is like this. >Have a stanza dedicated to your reaction from you opponents last reply. >Have a stanza dedicated to your attack. If you completely block another opponents attack, its courteous to not attack them within the same reply. This way, you’ll never go wrong.
World Creation(Getting started at the Dojo starts here)
This is the most important section for you RP experience. This is where you make your characters, their stories, where they could live. Also, this is where you can create a Faction to participate in the thread, as well as having access to writing for the group(The stories you write do not have to relate to the dojo at all) Bio's(RECCOMENDED) https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212677641/0/0 Backstory for Characters https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/217556475/0/0 Property Creator https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/220228259/0/0 Writers Hub https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/220575696/0/0 Faction Creator https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/222042811/0/0
The Dojo
Physical Appearance https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212677894/0/0 NOTE: The dojo only uses Mac Cannons for any kind of defense. A New Face | The Dojo's Gate A sky shattering boom echoes in the distance, the reverberation being felt throughout the Dojo; but it's barely noticable. A large black and crimson ship lands at the gate of the Dojo. Its sleek figure made from an unknown alloy glistens in the burning sun. The red neon lights shine brightly in the cracks and crevices of the ships hull. The cockpit to the ship opens, the dark dense glass slowly slides back into the ship; revealing the pilot inside. His suit of armor is unnoticed by many in the Dojo, but it is recognized by only a select few. The man has been affiliated with people such as Noble, Blackjack, the honored Cobalt Phoenix, Missouri, Vernon, and Headshot. This man's name is Kent Logan, he has also been called Kent the Mad by many of his friends; but he has outgrown that title, and now just prefers his real name. His red visor glows ominously in his cockpit, the skull embedded into it looks almost black. He takes a look around, then finally stands, jumping onto the planet's surface; dust lazily blows away in the wind upon his impact. His armor is all black with red lights built into the joints and crevices of the suit (much like his ship in a way). He is sporting an AR-15 and sniper rifle, both magnetically strapped onto his back. Two Chiapa Rhino's are holstered as his hips, and a small quiver is attached to his back waist; a bowie knife rests on his right shoulder. Red lightning slowly travels across his armor's plating, the skull's eyes in his visor are glowing a bright red. Kent slowly walks towards the gate of the Dojo, its brown-steel studded door looming over him. He lightly knocks on it.
Open to interactions.
• (Apartment, Dojoville..) Sitting down on some sort of mat in her apartment, Zera simply set up what she needed for her meditation; her katana, a mantle to put said katana at, some candles...and a picture of her father. Her deceased father at that. It had been, what...5 years since the death of her father... She continues to meditate, Annihilator and MP5 put to the side, as she gets into some sort of peaceful state. Her mind imagined herself floating in front of a cherry blossom tree, wind blowing in her hair, as she sees her father, looking towards her with that weak smile from before...even though it was only in her peaceful state of mind. "My father...I...have honored you through this entire time since your passing into the second dimension." She says, looking towards the spirit of her father, who simply nods back, a smile on his face.
Open.
• At the front gate, there was some slight commotion, as much as you would expect for the spectacle that had unfolded earlier would bring A small crowd had formed, circling a dead body, the body of a wanted criminal who had tried to pervert justice on numerous occasions, the body of the criminal bore three wounds, and a note The first wound, was caused by what looked like the result of a sword clashing against the man's meager armor, as it was a large and blotchy bruise where the man's temple had once pumped the life giving blood into his brain The second, was caused by a small blade slicing into his abdomen, and opening his insides, which were draped over his legs, propped up against the gate The last wound was caused by a small caliber, and hallow point, round to the sternum, where the man's heart had been shredded and destroyed by the vigilante the note was attached to the man's right wrist, and simply read
if you need the likes of this done, meet in courtyard A2
((open))

                • Ama: The Funeral Of A Second Swordsman The Order of the Second Swordsmen, a small and secluded island of a unique group of highly skilled warriors. Swordsmen and women who specialized in the art of defensive technique and practitioners of peace and harmony. It is rare for their kind to contact the outside world with the exception of friends, and family who wished to see the world. This day is one of those days. "Hey don't worry I offered to come remember?" Says Ama with her hair now blond wearing a black and elegant dress, her eyepatch off, and a small necklace with her restriction logo on it. She is on her phone in a local coffee shop conversing with someone. She seems both happy and sad as she hears what the individual says over the phone. "Yeah I know. Look, you'll do fine. Remember? Heh yeah. Anyways il talk to you when I get there." She proceeds to sip on a cup of hot English breakfast tea passing time as she waits for something.
Open. Was going to post more on her experiment but decided to make some lore
The Stubborn, The Cold, and The Comedic Relief Gelidus Desert, 6:43PM A New Set of Characters Enter... Gusting winds drew the blanketing sand across the rolling dunes of the desert; the harsh afternoon sun had long faded into the mellower waves of still brutal heat, and one could only guess what awaited them if they dared to cross such a hostile place. The heat whispered death into those who dared, and the sands as much kissing their boots as it did suck them into their gritty grave. From the Dojo, energy readings spiked from the desert as a space-time portal ripped reality itself as it arrived, carrying it's payload and dumping it quite rudely from fifty metres in the air. Three figures flew from the portal, spiralling downwards with a huge -thunk!-, rooster tails of sand billowing upwards with the impact. Without a trace, the portal, which hinted purple in colour with crackling arms of electricity grasping outwards, disappeared. A loud and quite annoyed grunt resounded throughout the plain landscape, one of the hulking figures standing upright as it dusted itself off. It's metal plating gleamed spectacularly in the dying light of the evening, his head holding two electric blue eyes on either side of what seemed to be a middle receptor. As well as his towering visage, over ten feet at least, an equally as terrifying poleaxe resided on his back as if hoisted up by magnetism. Although his weaponry and looks were quite a scare, a red cloak flaring in his midst, he looked around... lost. When he spoke, his voice was full of bass; the mechanical voice box a little on the harsher side, yet resembling one with experience and time behind his belt and a right to be angry, at that.
???: I knew it! I knew we shouldn't have trusted that fücking bitch of a mechanic. Stupid cünt had no fücking idea what the fück he was doing. "Oh, I'm sure this is the right place." "Don't worry about it, it'll be alright." Might as well fück me in the ass and call me a pony, motherfücker. LOOK! LOOK GODDAMMIT!
The rather enraged figure stood tall, gesturing around to the desert sarcastically.
???: LOOK AT ALL THIS FÜCKING NOTHING! THIS THE RIGHT FÜCKING PLACE, HUH? ???: Calm your Tourette's, old timer. It's a desert all right. Although, I'm certain we're... close. Ish. Kinda. Sorta. I don't know. HEY, SCORPIO! ANY IDEA WHERE THE FÜCK WE ARE SO TAUROS CAN CALM HIS SERVOS?!
The new voice was fresher; crisper, younger, naïve even. It was filled with confidence, as well as defiance, a rebellious yet loyal undertone to it's electronic nature. The bearer of the voice stood as well now, shaking his head, electric blue eyes waving back and forth to dislodge any sand stuck in it. Unlike the towering war mech from before, this almost human-like robot stood around six feet exactly. His matte-like finish on his grey skin made him seem almost like a man in armour, save his robotic voice. Held to his hip magnetically was a glossy black sheath for a katana, the blade nearly straight and humming just below the normal range of hearing; it seemed thin for a blade, but in contrast to the other mechs poleaxe, anything would. A dusty and quite worn black cloak hung from his shoulders, clinging to him in the mercilessly blowing winds that sent sand bouncing off of their metallic bodies. As if on cue, the third figure rose, dusting himself off methodically and with great care. It even took a moment to marvel at it's own fingers, as if fascinated by such... by such a THING, and continued to rise up to both feet. The nearly all black attire of the robot was apparent, leaving little metal to the elements; unlike the other, though, it's human-like appearance was given away by it's abstract head and transmitter poking from it's shoulder, the same electric blue eyes glowing from the base of the cylinders coming from it's head. It seemed to be fully armed and well defended; seemingly standard military grade armour plating, all different types of grenades and tossables adorning a bandolier, and a rather large and high tech rifle stuck to it's back. Not to forget, a Remington R1 Enhanced on his thigh, the satin black finish matching his gear. Looking over to where the robots had converged, he awkwardly stepped over to them, nearly tripping several times. His voice, however, was cold; near monotone, yet smooth at the same time.
Scorpio: Yes. We are near. Treat your elders with respect, Gemini. He knows more than us both. Gemini: Yeah, says the one trying out his new body for the first time. This one's just like my old one, anyways. Just a lot nicer. Wouldn't you say so, Grandpa? Tauros: Fücking idiot, c'mon, lets get a move on. Meatbag Magician is probably around somewhere. Gemini: Aye aye, captain. I can't hear youuuuuuu. AYE AYE, CAPTAIN. OHHHHHHHHHHH- Tauros: Scorpio, do something before I shove that fancy sword of his up his pelvic region. Scorpio: Affirmative.
Scorpio, still awkwardly walking towards Gemini, tripped and landed face first in the sand, his hand brushing Gemini's leg. The robot jumped back, hands up in defense dramatically, head turned away in horror.
Gemini: Dude, no robo. Harambe would not be pl- Tauros: IF YOU SPENT LESS FÜCKING TIME ON THE INTERNET, YOU MIGHT BE USEFUL FOR MORE THAN JUST DRIVING ME FÜCKING NUTS!!! Scorpio: Affirmative. Gemini: *mumbles quietly* Deez nuts... heheheh.
Tauros silently picked the robot up, hurtling him football fields away into the distance. Just a speck in the sky, the swordsman was out of sight quickly, the only evidence of his impact a large cloud of sand. Scorpio got up, repeating the same process of dusting himself off as if he rehearsed it as such, quietly watching the now distant projectile that was Gemini. Without waiting, the two headed off in the direction of the Dojo. Plumes of sand jetted upwards as Gemini ran at speeds invisible to the human eye, catching up to them in seconds. He just laughed, though, Tauros grumbling and Scorpio walking silently beside them. They had gotten new bodies from unknown sources, came from unknown origins... any who knew Tauros in his time wouldn't have recognized him now, either. Yet, over their time away, their bond was stronger than ever. It took them the rest of the night, and many rounds of Gemini-induced "I Spy" games, of climbing mountain and forest, dune and terrain, and finally cresting the peak that gave them a view of the Dojo, merely a kilometre away. Gemini's hands were behind his neck, reclining on them as if he were in no rush, Tauros's heavy footsteps shaking the earth, and Scorpio walking silently in his wake. The trio were an odd sight; a juggernaut, a ninja, and a rifleman. They all bore the resemblance of electric blue eyes, and two of the three wore cloaks. Just like another someone in the Dojo already... Their step steady and strong, the mechs came into view of the Dojo shortly, attracting many stares as they came to the front gate. Arriving soon, they wondered about how this adventure would play out; hopefully, Tauros thought, nothing like the last. Scorpio would remember too, the middle "child". But Gemini, young and stupid, hadn't a clue. Tauros sighed, the grinding simulation echoing through the air. It was for the better, anyways.
Opennnnn
Dead Bodies and Friendly Super Soldiers Dojoville, 2:30 PM Ren Ella "EXCUSE ME! Ma'am!! Do you need help!?" For several hours now, Ren was actually fairly pissed about something. She had been trying to do one thing without being suspicious, and here she was, dealing with her. She didn't get it. Why was she here in the first place?! Clad in her typical outfit consisting of a olive green longcoat, right leather pants, and a buttoned up white shirt with a handkerchief protruding from the neckpiece, Ren looked rather classy. Her boots had been laced up tightly, while a leather glove hid away her left hand. The entirety of her right arm was cybernetic, the robotic joints and "muscle" moving with the clicks and whirs of gears within it. The duelist had no weapons: other than the grappling hook hidden away within her robotic hand. Her long, dirty blonde hair was braided back, although some of it remained in her coffee brown eyes. The only weapon that the duelist bore on her was her trademark silver and steel rapier, Finesse. The guard and tip had been shined, while the blade had been sharpened to the maximum. She didn't intend on using it not. In fact, she didn't intend on using the weapon at all. Both of her hands were tightened on a rather large coffin, at least six foot five inches long and three feet wide, made of wood with a steel cross on the top. Ren was clearly struggling as she pulled it through Dojoville, ignoring the strange looks and murmurs surrounding her. Then of course, she heard that oh-so familair voice. Suddenly, a young girl, looking as if she was only sixteen and standing at five foot five, appeared beside the duelist as she pulled the coffin, a wide grin on her smooth, slightly tanned face. The girl had high yet shallow cheekbones, her face angular and thin. Her unrealistically bright blue eyes were aimed right towards Ren'd face, while bright purple hair fell from her head, although it ended at her neck. The girl was wearing a carbon fiber skin-right suit for...armor? Who knew, for it also had several childish stickers upon it, some consisting of elephants and teddy bears, of all things. Her skin seemed to be thicker, although she wasn't fat. She wasn't skinny, either. A futuristic submachine gun rested at her side, while her right gauntlet had some sort of wrist-mounted gun on it. A three foot five inch long black carbon katana rested on her back, with words engraved into the blade of the weapon, while leather was wrapped upon the handle. The French woman, or Ren, only stared upon the girl with a frown. "Ella...I am busy at the moment.." "Oh, but I want to help!" "Ella" yelled rather loudly to Ren's immediate disliking, as bystanders were drawn by her yelling and noticed the coffin being pulled by the duelist. In response, Ren simply groaned and allowed Ella to at least follow her, while she began to make her way to the L.I.M.B Clinic. (Open. Intro for Ella!)

                              • ON THE JOB AGAIN It was a nice day down at dojoville. The children were out, playing, and the adults were out enjoying their day outdoors. But most importantly, the gang was out again, business wouldn't stop, no matter what. Three went across the neighborhoods, stopping at certain houses to gather payment from their clients. They traveled together and didn't look very concerned even with people out to kill them. They were enjoying their day as much as everyone else.
open
Brave New World 16 Hours Ago "You sure you wanna trek in that direction?" Clayton asked with a brow raised. "We uhhh...never been 'ere, 'cause we heard from some friends about well- it ain't the friendliest town," the old cowboy said putting his coat on while putting on his Stetson hat over his graying dirty blonde swept hair- he had looked in his early 50's now after the longest time: a ninjato strapped to his back with a strange blunderbuss like weapon strapped onto his back while entering the hangar. "He is able to fend for himself," Aurora said with a smile looking to the tall figure. The Valkyrie approached and handed him two cylindrical like handles, much to his surprise. "You're ready," The Valkyrie said to him as she stood alongside Clayton, who had his arms crossed after wishing him good luck. "Tell Nova and err...Callum I send my regards," the man said before putting on his helmet and approaching his docked ship. Present Day As the Sky dilated, a strange unidentified flying object exited gliding across the sky. It seemed to have a strange design but was compact and small- a spaceship of some sorts designed from a composite like plastic that looked to be of material made from space shuttles. The metallic grey ship flew over the skyline until settling down in a cleared and region in the forest. The front of the ship retracted at an upward angle while the hatch from behind, opened unveiling a figure clad in weathered grey metallic armor. The design of the figures armor was nothing ever seen before, while the man stepped out. Shaking his dazed helmet clad head while he stretched out and looked at the scrapes of his shape while looking above at the mountains to his left and the dense region and wilderness surrounding him. "Definitely not Geos...." he said to himself looking up and noticing a singular moon while inputting it in his data pad. He turned to his small shuttle of a ship and gave it a pat before wandering about heading towards the mountain in signs of some form of civilization having no idea where he was, but the idea of being an outlander never bothered him as he himself was used to his nomadic like lifestyle especially growing up. He examined trees and the natural habitat taking note of the similarities and jotting down more notes. As he looked to the skyline, the moon shone over the region while the bright lunar rays reflected from his armor. The mountain was just about a mile away from his location, while he proceeded on foot and continued to move east taking occasional glances every now and then, keeping his guard up for any ambushes as the road ahead of him felt like something in a cliché movie. • The Returner Above the atmosphere of Tatakai, a small gunship drops from light-speed to something a little more acceptable by Einstein's laws. The gunship is painted a dark orange, resembling amber or gold. The ship was armed to the teeth, capable of leveling a few city blocks with one, maybe two runs. Inside the ship, the pinnacle of technology was revealed to compose the entirety of the interior. And in its cockpit, a single man and a massive, empty suit of armor not more than seven feet away. The control panel in front of him was lit up with various lights switches, buttons and other various control mechanisms. Above that board, there was a large viewing port, known to most as a window, displaying Tatakai in all of its glory. "It's been a long time, far too long," said the man to himself. So, with the flick of a few switches, and the maneuvering of a joystick, the gunship broke the atmosphere, eventually landing in the main courtyard of the Dojo. From the underside of the ship, a ramp lowered down toward the floor, revealing the cargo bay of the ship. However, an armored man had then began to descend the ramp, stepping foot into the Dojo for the first time in a long time. "It's good to be back."
Open.
Shouted the cowboy in a series of shouts as he grabbed... Well it looked to be a hybrid of man and chimpanzee, by the neck and threw it with all his might across the open and wide room that was the third surgical room, as a grunt accompanied his words and a silent sob, when the figure fell limp after entering its cage with an accidentally snapped neck. JT had been working on experiments you see, ways to augment not just by blending man with machine but also by creating hybrids of man and animal. Chimpanzees were jumping all around the room as they sniffed the various gasses JT kept for rendering people unconscious, a few cyborgs were playing with the needles that carried anesthetics and even Lopez the Hawk was in there, a blunt in hand as he sits on the surgical bed to pass it around the room, but as usual he hogged that shit. ((Short post of boredom, open))

Pink Aliens From A Really Long And Unpronounceable Planet The Dojo was at peace yet again. There were no immediate threats to its well-being. Therefore, it was seen as a safe-haven for warriors of all kinds, any shape or size. The main threat to it was therefore eliminated, leaving only its own members to harm it. Apart from the occasional colossal explosion, it was fairly safe for a place where people trained. Today was a fairly peaceful day, no major fights or spars going on. Well, that is until a rumbling is heard faintly from literally anywhere in the Dojo. The rumbling was fairly faint, but got louder, and louder, and louder. The sky above the Dojo got a little darker, and it was probably wise to look up to see what was causing the darkness. In the sky, a faint red dot is seen, either very far away, or very small. It was clear whatever this was was barreling to the planet, but surprisingly not burning up in the atmosphere. As it got closer, it was finally able to determine the shape of the thing. It was now clearly identifiable that it was some sort of ship, but it was not easily able to be identified when it came to its size. The shape, however, was a different story. It looked like three circles all strung together, with one larger, much larger circle encompassing the smaller three. Its color was not able to be determined yet, for it was still a blazing red from entering the atmosphere. It grew ever closer. Minutes pass. Somewhere around five, maybe six. The ship was getting ever-closer still. It had cooled down from its entrance into the atmosphere, and was now able to be seen colored a bright red, the color of something like a tomato. Well, that was correct, except the places where bright, orange lights were. It appeared that this ship had windows, maybe for observation, maybe for safety purposes. It was also very clear that there were several large guns on the different sides of the ship, and that was saying something about the size of the guns, for the ship was absolutely gigantic. The outer circle of the ship could probably encompass the large majority of the Dojo. The smaller circles all had the radius of a quarter of the bigger circle. There were many, many small lines across the circles, possibly indentions. It grew closer, and some of the civilians visiting started to freak out. Most civilians walked, or ran, from the Dojo, but if the ship crashed, it'd probably destroy everything in a few miles radius. Scorched. Tatakai. Hopefully those aliens piloting it knew what they were doing. And weren't hostile. After around ten more minutes, the ship had reached right above the Dojo. The thing was, it had stopped completely. There was some engines on the bottoms, which had switched on, releasing some blue flame from the bottom. The Dojo grew slightly warmer, but not uncomfortably. The gigantic ship slowly floated to the right, past the entire Dojo, and on to a plateau beside it. It very, very slowly lowered onto the plateau, a few sticks acting as landing gear. A small hatch opened up, and a small ramp extended from it. It hit the dirt of the plateau, and two bulky, orange figures walked out. They both wore the same outfit, a big, orange winter coat, with orange snow pants. They also wore orange mittens, and orange snow boots. The hoods on the coats were pulled up, and they wore orange goggles on their eyes. To top it all off, they had red, fire like designs all over their clothes. The only things not covered by their coats and bulky outfits as their mouths. Their skin color was pink, strangely enough. This wasn't a common sight, then again neither was their ship. One of them pushed a large, grey box to the side of the plateau. They hit it once, and it quickly extended to the other side, to the Dojo. They began to walk. After a while of walking, they arrived. They were seemingly unarmed, as if they weren't looking for a fight. They walked right up to the side of the Dojo, then followed the wall over to the main gate at the front of the Dojo. One of them rapped on the gate, and waited patiently.
Open. Reply to Vio's reply if you want to meet his character.
He was an Unkindled, serving within Farron's Undead Legion when he left, escaping to Firelink Shrine. He couldn't handle the fighting, or the responsibility of being an Unkindled so he hid away until the someone completed what was needed. The man who did it, was Mortar and now Hawkwood has come to dojo after hearing tales of it. Home to the Lords of Cinder. Home to Balthazar, Mortar, Kross, maybe even Anri. Maybe.... He approached the gates, knocking on them with an air of sadness. He knew what had happened. What Yuria had done. But he wasn't there for revenge. He was there to live a new life.
