THE DOJO

The Dojo. Located on the diverse planet of Tatakai, the Dojo consists of the largest gathering of fighters the universe has ever seen. Men and women from all different cultures, races and worlds come to train, compete and fight together. Many battles have been raged on its soil, but it remains standing. Here, one can write, fight and talk with other writers who seek to create stories with one another. All you have to do is start typing. The New Dojo(JOIN HERE!)
Join our group! Free of charge! I swear! https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Forum/1677784/0/3/0 USE THIS LINK IF THAT OTHER ONE DOES NOT WORK. https://www.bungie.net/en/Groups/Chat?groupId=1677784 Once you pass your test and have joined the group sign here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/215168136/0/0 NOTE: You do not have to be tested to join the dojo. Only to PvP.
Who we are
The dojo is an ENTRY LEVEL AND ONE OF THE ONLY PUBLIC RP THREADS. RP is A way of interactive creative writing. Where you can go on adventures, have fights and generally have fun. Think of dungeons and dragons, but its horribly imbalanced since there is not an experience system or dice. Its great! The Dojo loves different opinions, ideas and writing no matter if you are new to RP(roleplay) or extremely experienced. If you have an opinion to share about how to make the dojo better, contact one of the Sensei's that run the place (We would prefer this rather then excessive and unintelligent shit talking). Every work of writing is appreciated and accepted (shitposts…maybe not so much).
How we work(list of Admins included)
The dojo is run by a group of Sensei’s. These Sensei’s will make up most of the game changing decisions to benefit The Dojo. BUT Everyone's opinion matters a great deal. So the Sensei’s will make poll’s within the group for the members to vote and decide on big issues/ideas. Even then, the sensei’s will inform the group of changes and decisions made. The list of sensei’s are as follows: Inflatablepants/Pants(GONE ON HIATUS) The God-Eater/Cob Royalblade/Royal Fresh Cazberry/Vio nullCth/Cth And the leader of the dojo union: Tubbs
OUR GOAL
At the dojo, we want to provide an amazing place for you to improve on your writing in a fun way. We love new faces, and will accept you as soon as you walk up to the door. We also love other RP threads that have really awesome stuff, and we want to invite them all here so we can have a hub world of sorts. Whether this is through an interdimensional portal, space ships or whatever. We want everyone we can to be a part of this and interact with everyone! This way, you can meet people you never would have met before. If you are a leader of an RP group and are interested in this, please contact me so we can discuss further! I like discussing stuff!
RULES
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212678270/0/0
How to PvP
Player VS Player Is what the dojo is known for. Basically, you can fight each others characters with your own, to see who’s the best or to simply make some kick ass action. Please follow all the rules while you fight, so you can make it as badass as possible. In order to PvP you must be tested by a sensei, or a designated tester of the dojo. You can find out who is a tester by seeing "How we Work." Also, When you fight another player make sure that you always react to their move. The best way to do this is like this. >Have a stanza dedicated to your reaction from you opponents last reply. >Have a stanza dedicated to your attack. If you completely block another opponents attack, its courteous to not attack them within the same reply. This way, you’ll never go wrong.
World Creation(Getting started at the Dojo starts here)
This is the most important section for you RP experience. This is where you make your characters, their stories, where they could live. Also, this is where you can create a Faction to participate in the thread, as well as having access to writing for the group(The stories you write do not have to relate to the dojo at all) Bio's(RECCOMENDED) https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212677641/0/0 Backstory for Characters https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/217556475/0/0 Property Creator https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/220228259/0/0 Writers Hub https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/220575696/0/0 Faction Creator https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/222042811/0/0
The Dojo
Physical Appearance https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212677894/0/0 NOTE: The dojo only uses Mac Cannons for any kind of defense. • Promotion Omega, Royal, Snow and a number of other faces were circled around a man. Private Marker, who had been serving under Quincy during the hunt for Pal and had fought through the wars. He had a glowing recommendation from Quincy himself, and now he was to be promoted from Private straight to Seargent, proving himself a capable leader. Now only Quincy needed to give a small speech
Quincy! "
• Regrouping There were several safe houses currently being used throughout the village. The café shop, Quincy used to work at contained nearly 100 troops that had regrouped. The battalion was being led by Snow. On a street, on the outskirts of the village there were several buildings being occupied by Dojo forces amounting to 1,204 troops counting the ones patrolling the streets itself. They are led by Arcane. Very near to the steps of the dojo, two eight buildings have been occupied as a beachhead to send out forces and gather those that needed help. Led by Knights Conrad, Winston and Hamilton. Along with Vain. Anywhere between 10,000 and 100,000 troops pass through this beach head at any given point. The buildings that surrounded Trump's Command Center was completely under dojo control, with some three hundred thousand troops watching over the center of Trump's power. Led by, Kross, Watcher, Allister, Eidos, And Vanar.
Closed! This is mostly for me
Aftermath? The streets were littered with burned out buildings, dead corpses and Undead Dead corpses. The zombies had apparently been defeaten and the dojo construction crews were hard at work. The Mac Cannons were rebuilt, better and more powerful then ever. The walls were also rebuilt, infused with the same magic they always had been. Omega sat inside the command center, the number of deaths portrayed on a monitor as it steadily rose. Standing at the gates was Royal, who seemed to be directing the construction
Open!
• 18:43 PM. Ry's ship. Just behind the door leading into Ry's ship, was a rather odd pair. First, there was MJ, who was joyfully running about the place, seemingly unaffected by all the crap that went down.. And then there was Jason, sitting in a corner he had claimed as his own. Jason was geared up and armed to the teeth, both of his GAU-19/B's to his sides. Both of the guns weren't exactly as neat as they had once been, now being covered in dirt and grime, as well as a few smears of dried up blood here and there. The guns resembled their owner a lot, really. He was weary and worn, his normally gunmetal grey suit covered in dirt, soot, dried up blood, and other filth. He stank, yet he didn't care. MJ, on the other hand, was clean, the girl's clothes still neat and tidy. She was currently wearing a pair of thick, black pants, the bottoms of the sleeve thingies stuffed in her grey boots. Covering her thin and slender body was a snowy white sweater made of wool, with a leather tricorn hat atop her chestnut brown hair, which was currently tied into a messy bun. "Daddy," The girl said, bending down just a little to look into Jason's golden Plexiglas visor with her beautiful silver eyes. She only stood at 4'6", so she'd have to look way up if he wasn't sitting down. Jason just groaned in response, too tired to say actual words. "How long are we staying here? I'm lonely, don't have any friends.. And this place is so bland! It's pretty from the outside, though.." The Russian softly chuckled in response, his own grey-silver eyes sliding shut, head leaning back against the wall behind him. He remained silent for a few moments before finally speaking up, voice distorted and sounding a tad bit mechanical through his helmet, though his heavy accent was still there, "Then go make sum friends, kiddo. I jus' wanna sleep. Been a long fuсkin' day.. 'Nd how long we're stayin'? 'Til this shitstorm has blown ovah." "Tsk, tsk, tsk, daddy! You aren't allowed to say such things. They're bad words! And I don't know who'd be my friend! Most people here are grownups and they're yucky." "Oh, so I'm yuckeh? Psh." MJ gave Jason a look as if saying, "are you serious right now," which only made sense, considering Jason was the one covered in filth. A sigh left him, followed by a soft chuckle as his right hand dismissed the girl with a wave. "Go away.. I'm sleepeh. Yer ol' man needs his naps.." And, with that, Jason's kiddo left the old man alone, rolling her eyes as she walked away.. For a few steps, that is. She didn't know this place, so she was rather nervous. Who would she approach? Should she wait until someone took the initiative? She didn't know, currently just standing in place while her silver eyes looked around, scanning the room as she slowly spun in circles.
Open. Also, if you really want to interact with Jason, I guess you can wake him.
Just a friendly game of tag....with swords. Dojo sparring room. Q had somehow managed to get out of Ry's ship, making his way to the sparring room. The halls were empty, and quite creepy as well since they were so quiet. He sat atop a tall wooden pole, perched on it, looking at his sword. He sighed, admiring the jagged curves and runes inscribed onto it that would glow as long as he lived. He continued starring at his blade, it officially being known as a Blade of Elysium. This one's name was Kier-Ha, and it hadnt spoken since he left Falana. He sat atop the pole, pondering why Kier-Ha wouldn't speak, something no one would really know for sure. ((Open to Orn. Unless you feel like fighting Q when he's in a fight-y mood.)) ((also open to conversation))

          • A hard thud resonated through the hall behind the door leading into Ry's ship as a pissed off Russian rammed his heavily armoured, right elbow into it. The sound of two miniguns firing continuously was heard outside, as well as some very angry yelling. "OPEN DA FUСK UP, IF YA FUСKIN' WILL, CUZ 'TIS DA GODDAMN ZOMBEH 'POCALYPSE 'ND I AIN'T IN DA FUСKIN' MOOD TA GET MAH GODDAMN BRAIN EATEN!" Another hard thud followed the loud words. Jason had backed himself up against the ship, both his forearm mounted GAU-19/B's firing continuously. Ten thousand .50 cal rounds a minute being fired every minute - and, since it were hardlight rounds being digitized within the weapons' ammo boxes, he was going to fire for a lot longer, seeing how he didn't need to reload or worry about running out of ammo. His normally gunmetal grey armour was currently splattered in blood and covered with dirt and grime, all mixed together in a disgusting conglomeration of absolute filth. His eyesight was halfway covered, the golden Plexiglas visor being halfway covered in filth. Miniguns tended to mutilate corpses, so the blood was only natural.
Asap pls. • VICTORY?! WAIT....is that even a victory? As the multi-dimensional invaders seemingly popped out of existence, leaving the dojo alone to fight the zombie hordes, one might say the dojo won. On the other, the smugglers did, due to their destruction. Either way, both sides have come to the conclusion that this was a mistake. The end.

Christmas Eve. Inside Ry's ship: Quincy's cardboard box. Quincy was wrapped in a heavy blanket in his box, his eyes red from crying. He had brought three boxes of tissues with him into his box and had used two and a half of all of the tissues total. It was Christmas eve and this bull crap was going down. He had wanted to spend his first Christmas here celebrating, snuggled next to Vorim in front of a fire. He had wanted to enjoy one of the better parts of his life, but no, there was the zombie outbreak. He was angry, he was scared. He was fearful of what might happen to Vorim, of what might happen to Sketch, or any of his other friends. He had his head tucked in between his knees, trying to muffle his crying. He'd be embarrassed as heck of someone opened his box. Overall, he was angry that he couldn't leave to go find Vorim, he was livid that this happened on Christmas eve, and he wanted to leave. He wanted to go back to Falana and stay there, never to return. He wanted to take Vorim, Sketch, and the rest of their family with him, to stay there and never be bothered by the craziness of the Dojo, of Tatakai, ever again. Sure, he had had some good times here, but they were scarce and few. ((open to whoever is currently in Ry's ship))

The last stand *Sketch had heard about the zombies approaching, and had immediately started preparing. He locked Yerin and Luka in his box with enough food and water for them to survive a lifetime. He only did this, however, after gathering up all the ammunition he had somehow acquired over the years of living here. The gates opened and a path of ice flowed out. He pushed an 8x8 crate filled with bullets and shells along the ice. When he wanted it to move no further, he gripped the silver hilt of his sheathed sword and the ice disappeared. Sketch ran back into the Dojo and when he came out, Vorim and Sapphire followed him. Sapphire was in her exo-suit and holding Vorim's solar pulse rifle. She set it to the cutter setting, which releases a beam hot enough to cut through tanks. Vorim was in his combat armor and otherwise unarmed. Sketch drew his blue-bladed sword, stabbing it into the ground and causing a slippery sheet of ice to run down the mountain, surrounding it with ice. He then summons both his katanas, holding one at the ready and stabbing one into the ground as he watches the base of the mountain and preparing for the zombies to start attempting to climb.* "Vorim, get some bullets and a couple shells ready." *Vorim nods, 40 bullets and 10 shells of various types and sizes float out of the crate, hovering over him. They're all surrounded by a bright blue glow as Vorim's eyes glow the same shade of blue.*

It found a lone recruit Legionnaire. It didn't matter what he looked like. He looked at the dog. It barked twice. He felt a chill. It wasn't an actual temperature change. It was as if his brain had made him feel it. He heard a voice. It was calm, collected. But it was chilling. To the bone. "Good night..." He suddenly felt terrified. Like something terrible that didn't belong was there. "Sleep tight..." The terror gave way to dread. He could now tell the voice was masculine. It sounded manic. "Don't let the..." The feeling of dread grew. He could barely bear it. "Dead Bite." A chilling laugh was heard, then a figure appeared behind the dog. It smelled of rot. Like death. The first thing he noticed was the mask. It looked like it was two masks plastered together. One half was black, featureless. The other half was a dark grey, an insane smile on it. It had a hateful eye, red and glowing. It had cracks all over the mask. It was bleeding profusely from its exposed eye. The second thing he noticed was the bandana that was tied around its neck. It had a city's skyline, that being in white. The base of the bandana was black, and an anarchy symbol ran through the city. It's body was like black sticks coming from a black base, narrowing down to the legs. It had a blue three on its right shoulder, and its legs were covered in a golden chainmail. Behind its mask, it smiled. It spoke again. "Why hello there..." This time, its voice was a deep baritone, but it had one fault. It sounded like the thing was choking on some sort of liquid. It approached the man. It suddenly lashed out, chomping down onto his throat. Dead Bite chewed it up, then swallowed. "I believe that's enough for now... I wish you luck..." The Stand disappeared. The dog ran. A second after they left, the corpse got back up, groaning. It immediately walked to the nearest other, and bit his throat out. He turned. This continued until the entire Legion was turned. A million zombies. All marching to the Dojo. May god have mercy on your souls.
I will indeed kill literally anyone with these zombies. Your character can(and probably will die) in this. If not enough people respond and repel the attack? Well, let's not let that happen. This is a literal apocalypse. Open.
The Newcomer Has a Son... | Somewhere in the Dojo Kent Logan walks into the Dojo, his visor glowing a bright red, a skull carved into the center. His AR-15 can be seen strapped onto his back - along with a sniper, oddly resembling that of a M107A1, which sits diagonally from the assault rifle. A U.S cavalry sabre is sheathed on his waist, and two Chiappa Rhino's are holstered on his thighs. Right on his sacrum, is a quiver of sorts, which is very small, and doesn't seem to hold any arrows; a bowie knife also sits neatly in its leather knife holster, which is located on his shoulder. Upon entering the Dojo, he is welcomed by the thriving life of it. All of the different races and ethnicities always struck Kent as a surprise for some reason. He never fully understood why it surprised him, but it did. It was very odd. Kent continues down the streets of the Dojo, asking people if they have seen a large man in all white armor - it was urgent. Each person he asked, however, said that they have seen him at least once, congregating with people from around the area. Kent wanders, trying to find him. He seemed to be exactly like Rhys when he had first arrived. Clueless. Kent didn't know where he was, and needed to know quickly. He checked everywhere that had a lot of people, such as bars (though Kent knew he didn't like to drink), markets, and so on. He even checked every hotel, but still couldn't find a single trace on him. Kent would be frustrated at this point, but there are some… complications with his emotions. Kent finally decides to check the fighting arena. He never thought Rhys to be much of a fighting man, especially when first meeting someone, but he hoped that he'd be standing there - triumphant over the body of his combatant. But alas, Kent found the opposite when entering the arena. All he found was Rhys, lying on the ground… dead. A spark ignited inside of Kent, a spark of anger. A spark of sorrow and annoyance. He could feel these emotions, but just barely. Just feeling them sparked even more of an annoyance, because Kent was used to not feeling; the thought of feeling such emotions, emotions that are never associated with happiness, angered him. He wanted his first moments of emotion to be happy and cheerful. Not hatred and sorrow. He punches the ground, his hand creating a large hole in the surface of the arena. He continues to punch until there is nothing but a hole the length of his arm. He needed to let out his anger. He needed to find the killer. Kent swipes over to the diagnostic reader on his wrist, the eyes in his helmet glow a bright yellow. He scans Rhys's body, and finds two puncture wounds in his back, and some light bruising on his cheek. He was stabbed and kicked in the head… explains why his helmet is off, Kent thinks to himself. Rhys was hit right on the vertebrae, only once however, the second puncture wound went directly into Rhys's heart. This was supposed to be a damn simulation, why the hell did he go in as himself? He could have survived. Kent thought with a sigh. There's nothing I can do about it now… but I want to know who killed him. Kent reads the wounds on Rhys's back, realizing that they're caused by an unknown substance. Kent was confused. He didn't know anyone with weaponry such as this. Kent reaches over for Rhys's helmet, pulling a chip out of the back of it. Kent then ejects the chip from his own helmet, inserting the one he grabbed from Rhys. It's a chip that allows people to see what has happened in a person's past, through their own point of view. Rhys was fighting someone, it was hard to make out who. The weaponry they used and the way they talked sounded very familiar to Kent. He plays the audio clip back multiple times, listening to the man's voice. He knew. Kent rips the chip out of his helmet, inserting it back into Rhys's. He stands, picking up Rhys's body, carrying him out of the arena back to Kent's ship. When inside, Kent puts him on a medical bench, which starts to heal his wounds and gradually repairs any damaged tissue. Before Kent leaves his ship to go back to the Dojo, he grabs two disc-like objects from a locked container under his control panel. He then attaches them to the palms of his hands, charging them up to the point where they are glowing a very bright yellow. Kent walks out of the ship's hatch, moving quickly towards the Dojo's gates. There will be blood today.
Open to JJ Closed to everyone else, but some critique would be appreciated
• A small gunship circles the Dojo, attempting to hail the Dojo. Weapons were clearly stowed. The ship stuck out like a sore thumb thanks to its orange paint job as it circles. "What the hell did you guys do?! I leave for two days to check on the Station, and I come back to find all of the town destroyed! Respond ASAP." the voice was clearly JJ's, even through the communications device. And his tone didn't exactly convey a tone of acceptance.
Seriously, what's going on here? I've been searching for a little while, and I can't figure out what's happening.
Arsonist's Lullaby | Dojoville When I was a child, I heard voices Some would sing and some would scream You'll soon find you have few choices I learned the voices died with me The being walked through the carnage, and with it came fire. A devouring swathe of cobalt flames ravaged the earth it walked upon with scorching embers, reducing all it touched to ash. Grass was fossilized in cinder, earth was razed by fire; it was a walking apocalypse. No civilian was harmed by the devouring inferno - but on each side, both defending and attacking the Dojo, flames struck up their body and reduced them to pure ash that added to the firestorm following the figure. When I was a child I'd sit for hours Staring into open flames Something in it had a power Could barely tear my eyes away It was tall, about 6'11. A being clad in pure armour, an old VINC exosuit with each armoured plate engraved with symbols that told the same story in a thousand tongues. Each symbol burnt brightly as if written in magma, coursing like a demon's lifeblood throughout each of the walking pyromaniac's armour plates A set of massive burning wings stretched from its back, each ashen feather burning intensely and adding more gales of flame to the storm. Two large arms extended from the figure's lower middle back - amalgamations of other arms, burnt to a black crisp but mashed together to create massive limbs. All you have is your fire And the place you need to reach The walking manifestation of destruction held a blade in its hand. It was etched with the same symbols as its armour, each one glowing with a fiery blue hue. The spine was not of the same material as the blade - it was made of a polished human spine, broken in several places but part of the blade nonetheless. It was as if a self-contained inferno burned along its edge. In its other hand it held a grenade launcher with its stock removed, making it a more mobile weapon. Smoke and ash curled from the barrel as if it was a hungry dragon, waiting to be fed. On its shoulder was an M134 minigun that shot at any surviving warriors that his flames did not consume immediately. A quick roar of the barrels was the herald of their demise. Don't you ever tame your demons It finally looked up. For those who were near, they would be able to hear a single voice from within begging the walking armour to stop. From each tongue of flame, they would hear the scornful whispers of everything the fires have devoured. Its helmet has a single, blue optical at the centre of it like a twisted Cyclops, the bottom part of the armoured mask being that of a gas mask's. Within the circular visor-piece burned a single flame that reflected every ember that surrounded the figure. But always keep them on a leash A flame that was the manifestation of exile, resentment, and the greatest love turned into the deepest of aberration. A flame full of hatred.
Open to any side, attacker or defender. For those who remain.
This attack was unprovoked and of malicious intent. In his mind, memories of the Capital and his home came to mind, screaming men and oncoming hordes of beasts. Around him the temperature raised as he began to walk to the gates, blue fire erupting from in front of his chest and running over his body until he was adorned in the familiar battle armor. In his palm spawned an orb of blue fire, which elongated to form first the hilt, then the cross-guard, then finally the blade of the ancient great sword, Ragnärok. When the final bit of the sword burned into existence, a great BOOM! rang out, shaking the buildings around him. Under normal circumstances, this would not happen, but these were not normal circumstances, and the Wolf was furious. His eyes opened, blue fire burning from them as from a blazing forest, and yet more flames erupted from under the larger pieces of his armor, giving his body the appearance of a walking inferno. Around him, the ground begins to boil, and the air visibly vibrates as the heat coming from him excites even the very molecules in the air. Finally, the edges of Ragnärok spew out fire, and the temperature rises yet higher. His pace soon carried him to the Dojoville Gates, and he opened them with one hand, looking down on the oncoming militias and soldiers. His eyes turned skyward to view the ships dropping in from orbit and slip-space, then again to the various militias and forces assaulting the Dojo. He recognized on some the insignia of the New Terran Republic, and his mind involuntarily returned his thought to the memories of the Hell he'd wrought on Solaris. His rage continued to mount, even as the temperature of the very atmosphere did. However, he could not help but feel a certain excitement, a feeling of anticipation for the fights to come, and the havoc he would unleash, as in this fight, he would hold nothing back...
Open, Challenge the Wolf
