I've bought destiny a week after it was launched, I've put over 1,500 hours into the game, and I'm for a fresh start with destiny 2. The only things that should be carried over to D2 are cosmetic items (ships/emblems/shaders,etc) and our characters' appearances. Guns, armor, and our levels shouldn't be carried over.
