Y1 gear is gone. Those things will never come back. Don't get me wrong, I loved my fatebringer. If only I could have one Y1 gun to move forward, it would be the fatebringer. That is also why they removed Y1 weapons as they were. They know that even now, the weapon of choice would be the fatebringer for all PVE activities, unless the activity was solar, or void burn. The next weapon of choice would be vision. I think however though my beloved fatebringer is gone, I do think we should still get elemental primaries, and they can do it without screwing up the weapon diversity. They could give us elemental cores we could infuse into any primary. So you could make your hung jury void, your finalis peril solar, and your doctrine of passing void ect.
