Lets create a list of features we want in Destiny 2

Hola Guardians, I just wanted to create a list of features the community would like implemented in Destiny 2 that aren't already in Destiny (like Private Matches). You can list as much stuff as you want and once at least 3 people ask for it, I'll add it to the list. That being said if this gains traction, I'll raise it to an arbitrary higher number of requests to add to the list.
Feel free to peruse the comments to see if someone had an interesting idea you haven't thought of yet.

Update Vault of Glass to highest level. It was the best activity Bungie created and everything since hasn't even come close to comparing to it's quality.

Maybe a kiosk to find people for things that don't have matchmaking (could just port over destinylfg it would be fine) Fill the social areas before putting people in a completely empty one A "1 sec" or "brb" emote

Beards. Beards could be the only real addition to Destiny 2 and I'd probably be ok with that.

Ships patrols. When I go to orbit I want to able to patrol the space around Earth, Mars, Venus, mercury and the reef. Maybe even around the dreadnought. (and so on) I want to take on a small fleet of skiffs, harvesters, or tombships guarding a ketch, Cabal carrier, or a small dreadnought. The reef would make for an interesting dynamic patrol area, and certain areas above mars could be dangerous to go over due to space AA guns. Earth could finally show us where the moon sized ball is in the world (and the last city). Mercury could have randomly generated vex space spires that appear. Venus could be littered with fallen and vex orbital battles. THERE'S SO MUCH THAT COULD BE DONE! I just want to be able to use my ship. Right now it's little past a customized loading screen, which sucks.

The option to change our characters appearance. Or at least let us rotate them in the character creation screen.
