Only way to get better is play peeps better you. If it helps save a game or 2 and go back and watch. Look at your mistakes. See if anything could of been run different. Same time watch the top streams look at the lanes they run how they move around the map and try practicing. As soon as ROI comes private games will be huge. Get a group together and run drills. Anyone can get gud just takes practice.

  • This wouldn't always be true. You can't get better, if you don't have a chance at all. Using a 1-10 scale. If you are a 1, you will not get better playing against a 10. If you played against a 2, then yes, you would learn to get better. If you were allowed to work your way up the scale, you eventually become a 10. When I queue alone, I play against players at or around my skill level. This helps me learn the maps as I am not getting spawn killed constantly. I am able to hone my aim, and my movement as the players are only as good as I am.

  • Lol wow. Rethink what you said. Guy asking to learn 3v3 and rumble is where you learn. If you just want play with friends in 6v6 well it tells you that the person could careless. So why ask or complain...

  • That is a great point. I used to only do Control, because I am good at objective based play (such as PvE). But now I only do Clash, as I need to learn to get better at general PvP combat. But I think at this point, I may need to go into some 3v3, or some Rumble. Skirmish specifically so I can improve at Trials.

  • That's not true at all. When starting out bad, the last thing to do to make you better is play mlg pros. Playing those type of players of the bat like that gives you time at all to Lear how to react since you spend most of your time dead. Playing solo against equally skilled players to Lear how to move and shoot is better before moving on to fast quick scope Russian pros that meet you at your spawn everytime. You're right about watching gameplay though. That does make a huge diff.

  • Yea I agree to it being different for everyone. But for this guy. He's doing that badly in sweaty matches. Customs will come in handy for him. His friends can take him in 1v3 and they can teach him how to handle being taken on by 2 or 3 people at a time. That's what I'm gonna do to get better. I'm gonna 1v3 my 2 best friends.

Let's refraze that. The only way to get better is to gradually play aginsted players who are equally skilled or slightly better then you. Getting stomped helps no one. There are also alot of factors that partack to getting better, this includes but is not limited too mastery of your subclasses, map awareness, map knoledge, use the meta if at all possible and get good with the weapons. There is a reason why the top tier players use the guns they use. Be lucky with drops and get god roles, very few people are lucky so this is a pain in the ass, also enaga with the advantage. Don't use sords (unless your playing for fun because odds are you will lose to everything) snipers, they are anoying but you should learn to use them, practice alot. They are the end all be all to every engagement. A pro will never even have to use there primary. They are also relitivly safe to use if your a good shot and map aware. Lastly practice, alot. There isn't one top tier player that has less then 40 days logged into crucible. Pay attention and be smart. Lastly remember it is a game and unless your participating in the soon to be real tornaments treat it as such.
