They're worth it if you have clean wiring. If you live in an older house it might not be the best solution. It's more about the consistency of connection. You might notice less available bandwidth with the cables, but if the signal strength is solid green (you'll understand if you get them) and you notice on bandwidth tests that you have a consistent ping/speed and no packet loss, then it will actually be just fine.
