Excellent post thanks for the info. I've been using a wireless connections halfway across the house for years (no way to physically connect the router to my Xbox or PC), but those power socket Ethernet adapters look fantastic. I'll definitely look into those!

you need to go ghetto, I have an ethernet cable leading from my pc upstairs hanging over the stairway through the hall, past front door & into lounge haha #scrublife

Did this at college. My housemate was shocked when he moved in and all I had was wifi. Took it upon himself to get a new ISP, router, and hardware the entire house with ethernets. Fine by me, meant more gaming and downloads for all. Cables everywhere though.
