Done all this and still get red bar in some games. Explain that

Your connecting to a Host that's is a long distance away from your location, and shows as a high latency connection. SBMM sucks ass and there isn't anything you can do about that

All I'm saying is if everyone does the bare minimum to optimise their network, we would have a lot less issues. We can only work with our lans, and control the lag on our end. After that you play the game, or don't as the rest is up to the works ISPs and Bungie :)
