We're all living at a singular spot on Earth at any given time, within our enormous solar system that we probably haven't explored past 1% of (most of it IS empty space but still), within a solar system that's gigantic in size, inside a humongous nebula of very, very, very, very small section of a gargantuan galaxy of which there are hundreds of billions of within our universe that's incomprehensible in size, and even then we still aren't sure if the multiverse theory is true, string theory, anything.
We could have been born into any of the possible other sentient races out there in this universe, or maybe not at all. Maybe this universe could've been made and considering all the chances there could possibly be for intelligent life to flourish, life in that specific universe still doesn't exist. An entire universe, like ours, with no intelligent life. An entire creation of planets, asteroids, galaxies, stars, everything: BUT life like us.
Now we take into affect that we ARE here, and we ARE living in that universe. There are over 7 billion of us and lash time I checked (opinion based on recollection), we were approaching 8 billion. Over 7 billion totally unique people living in this one small place in the universe that we probably do not even take up .0000001% of. All with different personalities, some with multiple personalities. But all having consciousness. But you know that you're alive and you know that you're existing (I think, therefore I am.)
Your name, for example sake, may be Jason. And you're aware of this within the example (hopefully). And you're conscious within the specific body that contains the specific personality and attributes of your version of the many Jason's around the world. But realize that you never had to be born into a conscious body that would soon be named Jason. You could have been an Aaron. Or Emily. Or Taylor. Or Jake. But you're a Jason.
So now, lean back and look at it all in one picture. You happened to be born within a universe that happened to harbor intelligent life, that life just happened to spur up in what we call the Milky Way Galaxy, within some kind of unnamed nebula for whatever reason (that or we just chilling in totally empty space which I don't think but that's just me. We'll call our nebula the sexy nebula cuz we sexy), that just happened to contain a system with a planet soon to be called by its later inhabitants, "Earth," during a time of this planets history that there's Internet, peace, and the ability for you to even read what I'm posting right now under whatever name you happened to be given at birth by your 2 specific parents out of 7 billion, of which there were many more combinations and names to choose from.
This stuff has gotten my thinking mad hard about stuff in my life, and others' lives. In fact, I'd like to share something with you. And so I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there. I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air
Its a serious post, but I just added the ending in for effect
