I have done all of this. Literally all of this. Every single thing. The game is still a laggy mess. The games I have with dedicated servers are not a laggy mess. You can post this stuff all you want. Most people won't do it because they don't understand it, don't want to and never will.

  • Its not ment as a step by step instruction manual on how to troubleshoot a network. If you've got issues with lag and inconsistant connections then its most likely a port forwarding issue, especially if other games that run over standard ports for XBL/PSN like BF4, Titanfall and Blops3. remember that you can't use port forwarding and uPnP, and if you run more than one console you need to run uPnP and have your console on a fixed ip, restarting the router once a week in this config. http://planetdestiny.com/nat-settings/ Planet destiny has a good article on there. I am also assuming that you have ruled out any hardware or cabling issues? Have you rebooted your router and cleared the cache on your console? Have you checked your cables are in good condition and not crimped, or have any bare wires? have you reseated your cables at both ends? Are the spring clips fully engaged? Have you replace your cables with known good working cables? Have you spray dusted your ethernet ports, console and routers ports? Have you upgraded your routers firmware? Have you ruled out a faulty ethernet port of faulty hardware? Start with the physical and then work your way to the logical.
