you realize this will get rid of many people's advantage and thus, they will not do anything to get a fair fight. its the only way many people can consider themselves good.

If there are people playing a game, you bet there are cheaters out there. Nothing I can do about them. I can only hope that they want to know how good they actually are and start fighting on a level playing field. The router setup I have posted about really only minimizes your lag. It does nothing for other peoples :(

yeah, and i 100% support your post. just to be clear. i am one that opts for a fair fight every time. even though i rarely get one.

The only things you can control is up to the ISP's router. Trust me, I'm an IT systems engineer :)

since i own my own router and modem, i have more control. no shitty gateway for me. even then there is so much more people can do to help their connection within the walls of their house. they are just too lazy to do anything about it.
