With WiFi, you don't need to worry about Ethernet cables getting worse. Or tangled.
I love me some Cat 5e cables, they're really really good.
I run Ethernet while gaming because it's currently the best options, but I've used WiFi with 5 GHz, there is difference between 2.4 GHz, but you have to admit, a lot of wireless improvements are being made, while Ethernet is sort of remaining stagnant.
