It doesn't matter Microsoft just called an end to xbox/their console making. So.. gf future of xbox players.
Will be interesting to see how game devs change since they wont have xbox to make stuff for.

If you'd have watched the video, at 1:03 you can see in the quote that the current generation of Xbox is still going to be online and will be moving forward, and that Scorpio is just going to be an addition to the family of consoles.

Didn't the video that you keep replying to everyone with not say that whatever Project Scorpio is will be the final 'new generation' in the console market and will be potentially upgraded in the future with better hardware, but under the same name of product? That's what I get from it - not that they're abandoning console gaming with no new games for the Xbox One / Scorpio ecosystem. Still, a strange move from Microsoft, not sure what to make from it.

There making Scorpio and xbox anywhere. We get to play our games on pc or xbox now without buying them twice. Plus day one on xbox anywhere's release xbox live becomes the biggest gaming service in the world. Have fun getting a similar service from sony that doesnt involve streaming laggy shit from your console.

Actually playing on xbox and pc will currently only be for select first party games(games published by microsoft) in order to get all other games in on that all publishing houses would have to agree that when you purchase one version of their game it extends cross platform which isnt going to happen because they would need to close up shop and go under in able to support such a stupid business decision.

lol.. you sound mad fanboy. Personally I've very rarely even had lag, since i switched from xbox at current gen, and when i do for the most part is my own connection not Sony but nice try. Back to the point, microsoft is trying to become another steam for gaming basically and NOT making more consoles after Scorpio, which they are basically trying to make a mini pc. Please keep your fanboying down and just listen to the news. =D

Naw im not mad cause honestly the exclusives you playstation guys have been getting are well shit. The only exclusives you guys have gotten aside from a couple of games are just time delayed in game items. Compare that to i dunno having entire series of games like halo, gears of war, left for dead (previously a steam exclusive ;) ) getting entire dlc's a full year before playstation, not having our games getting crappy ports like skyrim, having our old games made backwards compatible without having to repurchase. Having regular updates and not losing all our purchases because a 4 year old didnt like our gamertag. Not to mention microsoft and steam have been having private meetings (likely to discuss the blending of pc and xbox services). Compared to sony who has only been pushing VR... Have fun looking like a moron swinging your arms around.

That being said the playstation exclusives arent really lackluster either. Follows is a list of things i would recommend a ps4 for: Axiom verge Abzu Bloodborne Broforce(i think this is also on pc) Disgaea Persona series(most of main series on psv or ps4) Star ocean(meh ish) Enter the gungeon Infamous and expansion Invisible inc. Killzone Knack Magika/2(tho pc is better with friends) Ratchet and clank Planetside 2(tho fps are always better on pc so not really exclusive either) Secret ponchos TRANSISTOR(beautiful game, tho i believe also on pc but def get this if you have the means!) Uncharted, all Last of us Until dawn -there are about 100 more but i havent played all of them and of course some are available on pc, hopefully those with an Xbox will be able to one day enjoy these as well. Not sure on this whole silly secret meetings since the both have competing marketplaces correct? And sony tried to get cross platform goin years ago but microsoft told them to shove it. Blind brand loyalty isnt good for you or anyone else. Of course i have my preferences of different hardware manufacturers for my pc but thats different, because unless its AMD itll play all the games. Lol.

Still exclusive to the Win10 family. Xbox and PC are one, they share the same eco system and store. We don't have console exclusives, but that isn't making people go out and buy a PC.

Win10 marketplace will die much like GFWL and youll be able to purchase them on steam just like the games from GFWL like the other microsoft properties that have ended up there. The argument exclusive to the win10 family is just silly because you can run wine one a mac to access said marketplace and up until a few days ago win10 upgrades were free even for pirated copies. Exclusive? No..but my argument that exclusives are dumb stands and my recommended list is still the same. Xbox and pc are also not one the framework is quite different and always will be. The software may be named the same but is not and the hardware, lets not get started there...blind brand loyalty is bad for you, me, everyone else and the industry.

My point that the games not being exclusive to the console was simply that people who already own Xbox aren't going to switch. Some people just prefer console gaming. There's a lot of caveats that come with playing Win10 games on PC -- Xbox play anywhere won't let you change some of the PC settings, I'm pretty sure you wont be able to mod and hack the games, but I'm not a PC gamer, I just know MS is against that. MS is bringing k/m support to console so Xbox and PC players can play in the same community. You still need the Xbox app to play the games, so it wont be like playing on steam or origin... you still need to buy games from the Win10 store -- if the PC side of things doesn't work out, the games will just go back to being console exclusive and the only way to play the games on PC will be to stream them from your Xbox... lets see what the future holds. BTW, I'm not a fanboy, I just prefer Xbox over PS4. That doesn't mean I don't own every single console ever created. I do, I just like to collect them. What games from MS are you looking forward to playing on your shiny PC hardware?

First of all read the article. Second of all Microsoft has been trying to make an entertainment machine for a while now. They've been wanting to create a machine that could take over the living room as a DVR, gaming console, radio, and computer all in one without having it be the price of a computer but with just as much and possibly more benefits. That's why they don't call it a console.

Nah. They've already put out the basic layout of the hardware. It'll be the new "most powerful" at least until Sony brings out their next version. Anyone who thinks one company will always be the "best" is kidding themselves. Scorpio will beat PS, the next PS will beat Scorpio.
