Based on his answer in the interview with IGN it seems that taken King exclusives are being extended till 2017. They've always used the words at least when describing how long it's exclusive which leaves the door open for them to push it out further. My guess is either the exclusive content with rise of iron wasn't enough in their minds or Sony paid to have it extended.

His response can certainly be interpreted that way, but it'd be helpful if we could get a straight answer on the subject. Unfortunately it's looking more and more like Bungie decided to extend the exclusivity. :(

Yeah looks like it and you would figure if they weren't extending it that he would've just gave a straight answer.
