Deej and Cozmo: Clarification on PS Exclusives please!
Deej was [url=https://youtu.be/o46JXy1Wzm0]speaking with Destin[/url] from IGN and mentioned that details regarding exclusives could be found on the [url]www.destinythegame.com[/url] website. After digging around a bit (seriously, it's not clear where to look), I found [url=https://www.destinythegame.com/sony-playstation-exclusives]this page[/url] which looks like it's got the info we're looking for. The problem is, every single thing on that page - whether it was introduced in Taken King or is planned for Rise of Iron - is tagged with the single asterisk that at the bottom of the page says "Timed exclusive until at least Fall of 2017." The stuff from Taken King was supposed to be available to Xbox players this fall, I thought? Because on [url=https://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/destiny-ps4/exclusive-content/]Sony's Destiny page[/url], it mentions "Timed exclusive until at least Fall 2016." Granted, it looks like that needs to be updated because the content on that page also includes Rise of Iron as well as TTK content, but clearly Fall of 2016 was on the timeline at one point.
So you can understand the confusion, right? What's actually exclusive, and for how long? Will TTK stuff become available to Xbox players this fall as expected, or has that been delayed until next year? Can you guys please let us know?

Yet now it's clear Activision is calling these shots. I played destiny on both platforms but cut back to just Xbox one. The exclusives suck and so do their drop rates on PlayStation. It isn't even worth complaining about other than to let them know this is Bullshit.

1 ReplyTo be honest your not missing much, there are legendary scout rifles that can pretty much match the jade rabbit in stats, zen meteor, while looks cool and seems great in description kinda sucks. The echo chamber strike is a pain in the ass. The exclusive armor we get, once again is cool, but...it's pointless. The crucible maps we get are eh to say the least.

1 ReplyI have destiny on both consoles and to be honest the exclusives 'aint all that'. The new strike is probably the worst one for people backing out so that shows you arent missing much there. As for weapons, well they are mediocre at best. None of them really shine and I never use them because there are better ones out there. I know its not the point but exclusives are there just to tempt people but they dont have any bearing on the game itself, other than having them in your collection, they dont serve a lot of purpose in the game because they are nothing special. Unfortunately, if you want the content and dont want to wait then you fall into the trap its designed for and you will have to buy a PS4. I started off on 360 with destiny, bought an xbone so bought destiny again, then liked the PS4 exclusive destiny console so much when that came out, I bought that too! I play both ps4 and xbone destiny now and have to say I dont miss any of the ps4 exclusive content at all when im playing xbone so that must tell you something. For me, Im just looking forward to the ROI and then sit back and wait for destiny2.

Guys you just spend so much time on games. Spend more time on real life please... Also thanks to people who explained this situation clearly. I mean in my country (Idk others) when I go to fast food restaurant like bk, I pay for extra stuff I want. If I pay that they give it to me but if I dont they dont. Sony paid activision for extra stuff, they gave extra stuff. Thats how life works. Yeah not fair maybe but thats how it is. Also they are not even worth getting (zen meteor sucks, jade rabbit sucks a little, that strike... lol I think I played that 3-4 times)

They aren't under any obligation to give you any exact dates. You chose to purchase the game on a particular console. Those items will come out when they do. I don't get all this whining. Least xbox are getting them at some stage. There are some gold legend cards in Fifa Ultimate Team that are locked to xbox only. Who gives a... about it all. It goes in swings and round abouts. Each console will have something the other will want. It's human nature to want what you don't have. Developers do it for the money... just like the rest of us that go to work, then swap companies for a better pay packet. If you don't like it... leave the game behind. Don't buy it in the 1st place etc...
