Deej and Cozmo: Clarification on PS Exclusives please!
Deej was [url=https://youtu.be/o46JXy1Wzm0]speaking with Destin[/url] from IGN and mentioned that details regarding exclusives could be found on the [url]www.destinythegame.com[/url] website. After digging around a bit (seriously, it's not clear where to look), I found [url=https://www.destinythegame.com/sony-playstation-exclusives]this page[/url] which looks like it's got the info we're looking for. The problem is, every single thing on that page - whether it was introduced in Taken King or is planned for Rise of Iron - is tagged with the single asterisk that at the bottom of the page says "Timed exclusive until at least Fall of 2017." The stuff from Taken King was supposed to be available to Xbox players this fall, I thought? Because on [url=https://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/destiny-ps4/exclusive-content/]Sony's Destiny page[/url], it mentions "Timed exclusive until at least Fall 2016." Granted, it looks like that needs to be updated because the content on that page also includes Rise of Iron as well as TTK content, but clearly Fall of 2016 was on the timeline at one point.
So you can understand the confusion, right? What's actually exclusive, and for how long? Will TTK stuff become available to Xbox players this fall as expected, or has that been delayed until next year? Can you guys please let us know?

1 ReplyThis uprising over 2 shitty guns, a crappy map, and the worst strike ever is freaking annoying and pathetic. Sony paid for the rights for exclusives. Quit whining. It's called business. If it bothers you that much, maybe you should have gotten the game on the console with the exclusives. Also, quit saying that bungie please fix crap. At this point, if bungie released the exclusives for xbox, it would break a contract with sony. They would rather piss you off all day than do that, and I don't blame them. Quit being so entitled and just drop it. All this bitching on the community is really annoying.

I was considering pre-ordering the rise of iron expansion, but now? I feel so put off by this whole mess. Not only bungie's treatment of the matter, but how it's community treats its other members. I see posts like "who cares?" And "get over it" and even "shouldn't of picked the wrong console" Is this any way that we should treat our fellow gamers? With scorn and hostility? Or should we be standing together to make a statement about how screwed up this whole mess is? Well?

If it says "at least until fall 2016" then they havent broken any promises. That just says it could be available then but can be at any date later if they want.

This is absolutely pathetic.. file complaints to the bbb? are you kidding me... Microsoft had there chance they passed take it up with them stop whining to bungie... what player base of psn players agree with your dumb logic the ones with both consoles... anyways most psn players want to hunt these exotic weapons and sublime engrams not just have them handed to us. As for the maps I flawless every weekend and I honestly don't care, we can literally creat our own matches with friends so no dealing with laggy players when ROI drops. Nightfall rewards, really? we can just do it in heroics with modifiers and all other strikes for better constant rep with boosters as for the armor, we can just cheese the boss every 2mn youtube it. Anything else you want to say about how it hurts psn players. fyi divided we are, because we are on different consoles dumb dumb take that divided logic to BLM/feminism bro.

I think the hold up is the old gen getting kicked. Think about it. Old gen players will need to upgrade to continue. Which current gen has more incentive to upgrade to? It's a good business plan. Have already seen people that have upgraded from 360 to ps4

But until then it will constantly be rubbed in our face, provoking these arguments, and causing the Xbox fan base to shrink. I'm worried about buying RoI not because of content, I'm worried about not having any other Guardians to play with.
