Not when they are tangible bonuses that affect gameplay. I'll grant that not getting a bonus isn't precisely a punishment, but it none the less discourages people from wearing what they [i]want[/i]. It means i'm statistically weaker because of my aesthetic choices. Also let's be honest. Are any of these bonuses going to be comparable to exotics? To have a full armor set you have to forgo any exotic armors.
