"The challenger is granted the first move." [b]Knight Ornstein bows back.[/b]

[spoiler]just a preliminary, is this a normal knight?[/spoiler]

(the figure hits a passing dragonfly with a pressure blast) "Now you."

[b]The knight chuckles, shaking his head.[/b] "If that's how it's gonna be..." [b]Immediately, his body becomes engulfed in bright electricity, covering him like armor. The spearhead to his weapon does so as well. He raises his weapon, approaching.[/b]

(The figure thrusts his hand forwards, and another pressure wave, though this time powerful enough push you back hits you)

Pressure wave, meaning the force?

[b]Ornstein slides back, but immediately recovers and approaches more, ready to react to anything.[/b]

(the figure also gets into a quick - reaction position)

[b]The knight grabs his spear with both hands, and an aura surrounds him slightly. He begins to rise up in the air, looking down at the figure.[/b]

(Small arcs of magenta lightning jump along the figure's body)

[b]Suddenly, Ornstein slammed down upon the figure, an explosion of electricity occurring where his target stood. It was enough to knock the figure back, atleast.[/b]

I knew electricity was too common.[/spoiler] (The figure blocks it, but parts of him stay in place, so as he mist-forms away, his body is full of holes, which he has to expend precious mist to fill. He hits you with another pressure wave, this one about as powerful as a car going 30mph)

[spoiler]Every one here is super resistant to electricity though ;-;[/spoiler] [b]Ornstein slides back even further, almost tripping. He shakes it off and approaches, beginning to sprint.[/b]

[spoiler]one of my character's main weaknesses is as a force, he is really weak against the fundamental forces electromagnetism, nuclear force and gravity[/spoiler] (The figure sends out another pressure wave, as powerful as a car going 75mph)

[spoiler]Hmm. Yay.[/spoiler] [b]This time, Ornstein dodges it, sidestepping the force. He charges, raising his spear.[/b]

[spoiler]He's not shrugging them off. Hell, they're knocking him back quite a lot...[/spoiler] [b]Ornstein propels forward, hitting the ground and rising up, slightly groaning and a little angry.[/b]

[spoiler]ah[/spoiler] (The figure has an idea. He forms a strange, self sustainable vacuum in his hand. Inside is a strange orange light)

"I should probably take cover, right?" [b]Ornstein says as he tightens his grip on his spear.[/b]

"That might be a good idea, but, yu know what they say:" (The figure looks straight at you) "Lightning never strikes twice." (The orange spark, now known to be a positron (anti-electron) cluster, arces towards you and annihilates) [spoiler]this is why you don't reveal your power straight away. It gives them time to formulate a counterattack.[/spoiler]

[b]Ornstein's armor suddenly turns dark, a dark orb forming in his hand. He throws it, and it grows into a ball of pure darkness, colliding and exploding with the first projectile, destroying both in the process. The force from the explosion knocks both combatants back.[/b] "Haven't done that in a while...huh." [b]Ornstein rises, sighing.[/b]
