On some cases there are exceptions...
So I was playing the mission where you find the lost Guardian in front of the Temple of Crota, but it made me think...
Why didn't his Ghost just bring him back??
It is never mentioned whether or not the Guardian lost his Ghost.
Also...
Grimoire says that many Guardian lives were lost in battles (Six Fronts, Twilight Gap, etc) How did they die when a Ghost could bring them back?
I already know what you're saying...
psssh.. It's just Bungie

So does that mean they're nerfing fusion rifles again?

Dinklebot was such a savage

But you're Nolandroid nobody cares about you!
While the Ghost resurrection helps make respawn more 'realistic' and how Raid teams don't slowly dissipate after wiping.. To have a sufficient plot deaths need to happen. I wish there was a little more explanation.

Edited by MightyBeforeOne: 8/3/2016 11:20:25 PMThe ghost is actually quite vulnerable if you think about it, he sits in your pack and hides unless you need him. The ghost shells only protect like 80% of the ghost so if the dead Gaurdians happened to have their ghost out, it could have been shot. Now assuming that that wasn't the direct cause of death for the Gaurdian, considering that we were long dead when they found us, then the Gaurdian could have fought until he died but couldn't revive. Or The ghost was shot while trying to revive the guardian. Now, I know what your thinking:
but mighty how did the ghost get into the temple of crota during that mission where you first spot the stranger on the moon?
I'm getting there, be quiet. The ghost was being interrogated by a wizard inside of the temple and died from the interrgation, giving further evidence that ghosts have little to no armor. (Thanks TKS597) So... In conclusion: The ghost died first.
