"Hmm... Yeah... The way I think of it... To you guys, a thousand years is like the equivalent of one year... But the little ones are still growing up very fast... And if that was true then Hovark would look like and extremely old man... I suppose as you all grow older, you start aging more slowly?"

"Yeah if hovark age the way humans do he would look like feeble old man but we age very slowly but once we reach a certain age we do but that not for a while. Yes those four do grow fast cause still considered kids until they reach the age of five then their consider teenagers"says talath

If leyla was a full blooded mermaid like her mother was she would be mainly near water cause she wouldn't be able live outside of it for very long. They also turn back into one at sun down.
