I brought a year 1 Her Right Hand into Crucible the other day as I was working on finishing the crucible questline for MoT and it was the best auto that I still had. (I run solely on scouts nowadays for both PvE and PvP) It wasn't awful. Had a couple bad games but I was actually picking up a couple kill-streaks with it. Could its archetype use a buff? Sure. I was getting a little outmatched by the normal crucible god-weapons. But it wasn't awful and I was able to get the step done very quickly for a guy who hadn't picked up an auto in months.

Definitely. But they're more underused than underpowered. Very solid in their own right but they are a tier below the usual Crucible weapons that you see people with.
