Why does that even matter ?
You're going to bring up the fact that other shotguns aren't viable ? If that's the case, matador, PC, and Felwinter ruled over all shotguns and if you weren't using them you were at an extreme disadvantage.
Shotguns are not anywhere close to as bad as what people think. If you can close gaps between the person you're engaging, you will have no problem.
You cannot use shotguns at 20+ feet of range anymore, it doesn't work like that. That is the only difference.

I never said anything about having those problems but at this point even using a long range archetype, which is the only type of shotgun you use, doesn't have the same range as blink strike shoulder charge or warlock melee, and with that being the case how can shotguns rule again if one class can double melee and stop them before they get the ohk.
