NERF SNIPERS

I have friends though that are very good using them and shotgun or hand cannon together, I have noticed recently allot of players using snipers like scout rifles, now this is very wrong as these weapons in real life are very different. The sniper is way heavier takes longer to acquire target and is harder to aim [especially under fire] any person who's fired a weapon in real life knows this but in destiny players leap about quick scoping etc etc need I go on.
