What would be your opinion on linking Shoulder Charge to a melee charge?
I think that's fair. It isn't a "nerf" so to speak, SC will retain its power, it just removed the ability to spam it.
To those who like to say, "You can't spam it, it takes longer and longer to cool down". I wholeheartedly disagree. I played a game this evening and was killed by a shoulder charge. I didn't respawn right away, rather watched for the 10 seconds before it auto-spawned me. The guy leveled me, and hit two more people with it in the 10 second span.
Okay... But consider the following- Tier 5 Strength gives you about a 25 second cool down, and with tier 12 stats being available it is not very hard to get 4-5 on a specific attribute. Then consider that one can spec Overload for a whopping 10 second cool down on melee with tier 5 strength. This would still allow SC to be "spammed" so this wouldn't change anything whatsoever.

Science! But seriously, damn that's brutal. I dunno then. Disregard. I just think its aggravating when a Striker kills 3 people with Shoulder Charge in about a 15 second span. Happened last night, I stayed in the death screen after they got me with it and he got 2 more people by the time my 10 second auto respawn kicked in.

Yeah I did some math lol. In hindsight, I apologize if I phrased my post a little aggressively, but the point I was trying to make is that you can find ways to adapt to new changes and nerfs, unless bungie reworks large sections of the subclass (Overload, Shoulder Charge, and the ability to get tier 12 stats would all have to be changed in order for shoulder charge to be somewhat less 'spammable'.

Here's a hint then...shotgun em...

Would require a reworking of the skill tree to do that as it would replace a storm fist perk
