I've been trying to get flawless for ages now and so far the best Ive been is 6 wins.
My suggestion (if it is possible) is to get the game to match teams based on the average KD of the team.
For instance
Player As KD is 0.50 (thats my KD fyi)
Player Bs KD is 0.77
Player Cs KD is 0.76
The total of all 3 is 2.03
Divide that number amongst all 3 and you get a total of 0.68 (rounded 2dp).
The game would then use the final total of 0.68 and match as closely to that number as possible.
This would allow players who aren't that good when it comes to PvP a fair chance to make it to the glorious Lighthouse as well as offering the Elite PvPers a challenge of facing other players close to their own skill level.
Thank you.
Now let the "get gud scrub" comments commence.
Edit: Once you have been flawless you will only be matched with other Flawless teams for the remainder of that weeks Trials of Osiris.

Bump check edit.

Year one settings. Pure connection above everything else. You face who you face. Could be 7 teams of bads could be 7 teams of mlg pros. Doesn't matter. Winning 7 games without losing twice is challenge enough, bungie needs to stop playing the hand of god with team matchups.

1000% Agree!!!

Holy crap. Math to make logic, you earned a bump

332 good warlock looking for team for flawless invite me same gt as above

The problem with this is trials is made to b mega competitive and flawless is only for the best of the best so either get better or ur not getting it

I always find these posts entertaining to read. I just hope Bungie never gives in to them. Trials should only match you up based on connection. This is an end game event, therefore, those with bad gear / skill shouldn't have an equal opportunity to get the maximum rewards as someone more seasoned who has put in more time and effort.

Edited by SabeTheBlade: 6/27/2016 9:21:03 PMThen why post if u already knew ppl was going to respond with "git gud scrub" then? The way I see it here that u got 3 options if u want to go really bad 1. Make an effort of getting good(sorry lol) by watching videos or actually listening to what good ppl has to say to u while trying to help(even if it u take it the wrong way) 2. Win a raffle on a popular twitch stream( pretty painful but if u actually win you'll mostly guarantee to go to the light house) 3. Pay for a guarantee lighthouse run (some ppl on lfg and streamers do this if your serious on getting there and go full try hard to do it and trust they r sweaty lol) I get It i used to be like u in year one with a .58(thorn was a pain to go against at that time lol) and I play a lot and got better over time and I now have a 1.5 trials kd on my hunter(which I played all my career) and go to the lighthouse every weekend. My point is keep playing you'll notice the difference when u get good(sorry again lol)

I agree that the matchmaking shoulld be adhusted in trials to make the lighthouse at least tangible for players of different skill levels. The problem with the avarage kd is, you have some good trials players that dont have amazing kd's. Also, some will tank in reagular pvp intentionally to bring down their kd befor trials. I do think they could do some kind of skill base matching that would give us avarage players a chance. And they should. You can be an average pve player and complete a raid. Why not trials too? 9 wins in a row against your same skil level is still a tough task. Yet the extremely talented pvp players can still get a few easy matches early in their card with us average players.
