Internet shaming is real and powerful. Look it up. It has ruined people's lives. In some cases some of the company's involved (possibly Bungie)were sued. Bungie doesn't want negative attention like that. I'm not saying this guy calling out a few hackers will ruin their lives. But you never know. Again, Bungie can't take any risks. If you name shame, it doesn't matter how unfair the trials game was. Three main reasons A. Bungie cannot take the risk of possibly being sued or receiving negative attention. B. Bungie wants to protect their player base from hate and any mess that may follow Internet shaming. C. What's more important? A persons life potentially ruined by hate and slander.
