This whole "anti shaming" culture we've developed is ridiculous. BUNGIE needs a stockade at the front and centre of the tower with latest offender on display.
Or better yet, ban them and leave their carcass on the moon with a plaque naming and shaming until the day the servers shut down.
Maybe I'm just getting old, but I can remember a time when people were expected to take responsibility for their actions. Now we make excuses for them.

The hall of shame haha

Yeah generation x as it was called was definitely the last of kids taught that they were gonna fail and that you need to be responsible for your actions Now it's all about self esteem and anti bullying, my god I feel bad for kids born after about 96 my little bro doesn't even have that self entitled I should be a little princess attitude Bungies afraid they'll lose players if they aren't allowed to cheat I just love how I sign the EULA and so do the cheaters, all it's doing is making it so you can't sue bungie, it does nothing to protect its player base I'll probably switch to over watch here soon

Well said.

Oh yea were getting old. Thats the wrong way now. New was is accept everyone and everything like a slave. Just remember life now makes excuses for stupidity. Its a medical thing and like addiction it is a disease. Its to hard for poeple to take responsibility for actions now cause they didn't do anything wrong. Cause someone will just make so bs excuse and babel nonsese about crayons to back it up. Its a way to make us give up. Cause you can't fix stupid.
-
Yup, stick their guardians behind bars for all to see. Let us throw rotten vegetables at them too.

Your name... The persons post... It all makes sense now... Ik why that Warlock got infinite Nova Bombs...
Space Magic!
I blame the SJWs and our overly sensitive society. People need to grow a thicker a skin.
-
Exactly, people these days just cower behind a corner and let other people do there dirty work for them. #Tamponmasterrace

Well said.

Edited by Cosmic Zaa: 6/26/2016 1:11:13 PMName and shaming now adays leads to death threats and multiple other items of that sort. It's only natural we dont name and shame since people get constant threats on their life and hateful messages for the smallest things. Sending it straight to bungie would be better. They need a box for videos involving cheating
-
The idiots making those threats likely aren't smart enough to track anyone down. Who is going to go through the trouble of tracking someone down, even if they knew how, then travel to wherever this other person lives, identify them correctly and do bodily harm to them? All over a video game. The time, money and effort to do all of that is absolutely unrealistic. Besides, if some one is going to make threats like that you can report them to mutiple sources and they can face serious consequences for those threats.
-
Like i said. In history, people have done crazy shit and they went to prison for it. Im not saying itll happen because its very unlikely, but it HAS happened. That's what im getting to
-
Good. They deserve those death threats.
-
Derp.
-
its a fucking video game. What is wrong with your head. How about somebody calls you out and sends you death threats for the rest of your life. Along with people sending you photos of people who died after having death threats sent to them? It's not a joke. And definitely not worth over a video game.
-
Paranoid much?

-
People can go much further than that. You'd be surprised. All it takes is to get the right guy pissed off
-
Riiiiiight.
-
Well said sir. And this shouldn't apply to just gaming either. It should be for every part of life. It's despicable how people don't care about what they do anymore and the consequences.
-
Hacker amount would increase if they'll get their name in the game lmao. Hackers want to stand out.
-
Exactly this. It's not real life, naming and shaming them won't have any harmful effects on them. They won't lose their jobs, their family, or their real life friends. It only serves to call them out for their shitty behavior and make them think before they act so they don't ruin other people's fun.
-
so...when anonymous hacked psn that wasn't wrong...it was naming and shaming and as you said it wasn't real life....so let them do it again and again and again...what a dumb -blam!-tard
-
You lost me at Anonymous hacking PSN = naming and shaming. Hacking = hacking. You're the dumb fucktard
-
no he said just cuz someone cheats in video games makes it ok...anon did it to a video game console...and yes they cheated...they cheated the system buy making everything on the psn store free ....so yes its the same thing
