I know I know, the Battlefront III alpha footage has been out for some time now. However, with the source code being leaked a few months back and a confirmed revival, My body is ready.
Frontwire Studios, the company behind the Battlefront III rebuild, has recently made new ground in the project. They contacted and Valve has agreed to distribute the game via Steam once it releases. Don't get too excited yet however, it's still uncertain if Big Brother Disney will strike down this project.

Anyway, point of the thread is to spread both the news and show those who never saw what Battlefront (EA) should have been.

EA's Battlefront nails the feeling of being inside of an epic Star Wars battle with game modes like Walker Assault, but it's severely lacking in content compared to the old games. That's what makes it not as good. It has potential, hopefully the sequel can deliver.
