Seeing as how bungie has only generally nerfed things down (the auto rifle buffs of old don't count) power creep is a false argument. Plus, like someone else said, you get "power creep" with nerfs or buffs. You could say hand cannons, MIDA, and low impact pulses power creeped by the other nerfs.

I know that power creep is not happening right now but if everything was just buffed then it will happen.

It's already happening in reverse with nerfs. A few buffs after 2 years of nerfs is suddenly gonna give rise to this silly power creep notion.
