Ok... But I am talking about the company as a whole not just a small group of people who left. Sure you were too.

Right, ask Halo fans. After 2 it went downhill. That's when they all left to another studio. Thus company has milked the shite out of Destiny by chopping up Vanilla and trying to patch it back together. Their 'fixes' constantly screw up other parts of the game. They admitted to coding poorly, fixes constantly screw stuff up, cash grab live events. Awful RNG, get more blues than I do lengendaries, and more exotics than lengendaries. Shitty double RNG for the KF. Destiny's motto: "it's broken, people still spend money on it, why fix it" The mechanics of the game are very nice, no denying that, but that's not enough for all the shite

But yet you are still here after Halo 2. Pretty sure you protested after Halo 2 was made and yet you still said it went down hill. You bought all the Halos after that? And then bought Destiny? And you still play destiny... Why not follow those people you love to the new companies? You said it yourself they all left for better companies, why not follow them there? The people at Bungie clearly don't make games you like, but they make games other people like. People like me and other people in this thread who spent a little extra money on the game. People like you I don't understand, I am sorry. If I love something I spend time and money on it. If I hate something why even bother thinking about it, I just ignore it.

I never claimed to have bought any Halos, you just assumed. This is my first, possibly last, game by Bungie. I understand spending money on things you enjoy, but when you are spending that much and they can't balance their game, still uses SBMM after claiming they were done, what game uses P2P in this day and age. Very frustrated at what this game could have been. I understand it's a "10 year plan" but if they can't keep a majority of people after 1.5-2 it's, IMO, gonna turn into COD like. Each year or so a new destiny comes out. Progress reset, gear obsolete, no linear story. I could not play for the 2 years and pick up destiny at the same point as everyone else. Guess I thought it was going to be an expanding story over 10 years.

Don't think you played any MMO's at all. Glad my childhood I balanced it between my PC MMO's and my console straight story telling games. In many MMO's lots of things become obsolete, thats just what happens many events and gears come out and replace the old content. If you are not there then you are going to miss it, thats just what happens. Like I said its not just a straight telling story game, where you beat it and then your're done. You beat it and can replay it for different gear, you wait for new updates to come out for even newer gear. Many MMO's I played in my past always do this, Tales Runner, Ragnarok, FLYFF, the list goes on. All of those were free to play games but they did have a lot of stuff you can buy that made you better or just cosmetic stuff. Never put money into those games but a lot of others did and they even gave me stuff with their real money. Destiny is a little different at least and they don't make there game pay to win, they just stick with the cosmetic stuff. Its been like this for almost 2 years so I still don't know why you continue to play it. If it's been working for them why change it? Many people do enjoy it.

I never said I still play this game. Destiny also came out and said "The last thing we want is to you look at you weapons and gear and they've become obsolete". I have no problem progessing through gear to better gear. Final Fantasy games, but to just artificially make guns stronger by continuously nerfing previously obtained gear. It's year 2 and I'm still doing the same amount of damage with critical hits. Where as other games as you progress through stronger gear you do more damage. I love playing through a story, unlocking more badaśśed gear to do more damage. I just don't see it here. Ever dlc/update brings a change to the leveling system, the light system and nerf to previously good gear.

Yeah, Destiny doesn't seem like the game for you. You still play it thought well last time you played was in May. You also still visit the forums frequently it seems like. I am just happy I love this game and spend money and time on it. Even enjoy the time I spend on forums because it's related to a game I play. Sorry you dislike the game so much that you have to spend time on their forums talking about it.

Edited by OshKoshTheJosh: 6/22/2016 6:19:36 PMIn its current state, not at all. I loved year one, felt like I was progressing towards something. I frequent the forums in case things have changed. Since I have last played I started Overwatch and now on vaca. Someone told me the loot systems seems better so I may try it when I get home. Also, I don't have nearly as much time to play as before and there are so many guns I don't have from vendors. Get a package, get the same gun I already have. And at this point, there's literally nothing to do except the same strikes and missions. I really only try playing during IB, but the last few attempts have been met with red bar warriors, or I myself have been a red bar warrior. That's no fun to anyone. Edit: most civil discussion I have had on the forums while we have different views. gg

Fair enough , and your right this has been the most civil discussion I've had on these forums where 2 people share completely opposite opinions.
