*Mortar relaxes a little more, he was certainly not expecting that.* Should I talk to him? He seemed calmer, but... that's not always a good thing... *Mortar seems to be talking to himself*

~Smough sighs~ [b]He's doing really bad, actually. I'm the only one that he'll talk to, so far. You should've seen him and Nameless...[/b]

*Mortar rests under a tree, his head against the trunk* I will just stay here, regardless what you all say.

*After what seems like an eternity, Mortar wakes up, refreshed. He sees Orn through a window, and calls for him* ORNSTEIN! OORRRRNNNSTEINNNN!!!!

~The knight looks at you, then closes the curtains~

*Mortar sighs, he really wanted to see Ornstein feel better. He lost a friend like this, he didn't want to lose another*

~A couple of days past. You get a couple of opportunities through Ornstein leaving the apartment. You follow him until he enters the Starbucks. He only gets a coffee, pays for it, says "[i]Thanks.[/i]" gloomily, and sits down, not noticing you~

*Mortar clears his throat loudly a few times to get his attention. He didn't want to flat out say anything, it may trigger him, so he just cleared his throat between sips*

~Ornstein looks up at you. He sighs and goes back to reading the paper. There's room in the other side of the table~

*Mortar stealthily forms into that one empty space.* Um... hey there.
