Guardian Link- Episode 2, A New Enemy

Outer Walls, Earth The guardians have been sent to help a titan fend off hive that are attacking the outer walls of the city. Rasputin has been unable to help, under attack by a large shank. The guardians have also been asked to search for a stone that might help prevent incidents like the one on the citadel. "Got it this time, Bronze?" Garret asked, annoyed. "Yes! We have to help that guy kill the hive terrorists, and we find a rock that the darkness can't pierce, and use it on our ghosts so we don't die." "I uh, actually never mentioned the ghost thing, but good idea." Garret replied The guardians covered their ears as a hive tombship screeched into the sky. The sound of gunfire was heard over a hill. "That must be the titan we're assisting," Jolt yelled over the sounds of battle. The guardians came up over the hill to see a titan, fending off hive with a machine gun. Cursed thrall blew up everywhere, coating the battlefield in a layer of turquoise. Garret suddenly yelled, falling into a cave after his foot had shifted some rocks. Jolt turned toward Bronze. "Bronze, why don't you help our new friend, while I help Garret?" Bronze quickly nodded and dashed to the titan, flailing his arms and shouting greetings. Jolt jumped down into the cave, her surroundings quickly becoming dark. The cave was small and musky, but Garret wasn't there. She continued on through an opening in front of her. She spotted Garret crouching down, his ghost illuminated the small room. "What is it?" Asked Jolt. "My ghost said that these symbols mean light and stone, but the chest under it is empty..." And there's a symbol that means tarantula, but I haven't any clue what that could mean. The odd thing is, I- Garret was cut off by a thwack to his head. A dark figure rushed past Jolt, cackling. Jolt hoisted Garret onto his feet, dashing after the figure. Garret followed. Garret and Jolt scrambled over the hill, and it was completely quiet. Bronze was knelt over the titan, and walking away from them, was an abnormally black hunter. There were no lighter or darker parts to the hunter, it was just pure darkness. Hearing the guardian's footsteps, he turned around. A ghost was in his hand. Jolt looked over to the titan, and back to the shadowy hunter. She suddenly realized what had happened, unstrapping her shotgun. Garret lifted his sniper rifle out of transmat. Jolt ran toward the the hunter, aiming her shotgun, but he was too quick. He dodged out of the way, grabbed her arm, and kicked her to the side, sending her flailing away, just as a sniper shot whizzed by his head. He turned toward Garret, who put his sniper rifle away and unholstered his Hawkmoon. The shadowy hunter ran toward Garret, who quickly fired a shot at him. The hunter dodged out of the way, and continued to dodge Garret's shots. Garret's last shot hit the hunter in the chest, making him stumble back. Bronze, who had gotten up, palmed the hunter in the back, leaving him flat on the ground. Jolt, Bronze, and Garret approached the hunter. He looked between all three of the guardians, and started disappearing into smoke, cackling. "Who are you?" Jolt barked. The hunter simply looked at her, and, in an unearthly voice, said: "Did you not think that the enemy of the traveler had disciples too?" And he was gone, along with the titan's ghost.
