Honestly, I wouldn't work for any of that. Y1 actually meant something. There were some actual challenges. The raids were fun and rewarding. PvP was still fun. Quests weren't broken. It was just better, and having the emblem proving that you were there for all of it just felt good. A Y2 MoT just seems... Empty.

It wasn't that challenging considering the majority of the community had it done upon release or needed a couple gold chest. Year 1 -Reach the max level of 34 -Defeat the dark heart of the Black Garden -Prevent the summoning of Crota’s Soul -Capture Skolas in the Vex Citadel -Defeat the Prison of Elders on Hard -Defeat the Atheon on Hard -Defeat Crota on Hard -Complete 50 public events -Win 100 Crucible Matches -Find all Golden Chests Year 2 - Complete an Elder's Sigil scorecard in the Prison of Elders. - Complete Taken King questline, culminating in "Regicide" story mission. - Equip a fully leveled year two subclass on any character. - Complete the Crucible questline culminating in "The Mountaintop" - Collect all 50 Calcified Fragments. - Complete any of the exotic sword questlines from Shaxx. - Complete the April Update quests "At the Gates" and "Return to the Prison." - Defeat Oryx in the King's Fall Raid on Hard difficulty. I personally know a bunch who won't be getting this just because of the Mountaintop and beating Oryx on hard and fragments. (provided this is the real list) I feel Year 2 is harder considering the pvp quest was glitched for a while, Not many have actually beat Oryx on normal and that means they have 1-3 missing fragments for challenge raid. I don't see how Y2 MoT are empty compared to year one? Honestly it's the same thing minus the tedious task of grinding Publics and PvP. Just more quest related as it should be. I mean you are entitled to your opinion I just personally think the Y1 MoT's were a breeze next to these. My PS account only need a mars chest for Year 1 and I've completed everything for Year 2 already working on my Xbox MoT now.

I had y1 MoT done when they were released. That doesn't change the fact that the activities were waaaay more fun and rewarding than y2, and there was a lot more that had to be done. I mean, you had 3 separate story lines to complete, along with two raids and hard PoE (which lived up to its name). Not only that, but you had to actually play the game. You can't just waltz through a quest line and get 50 public events. The crucible quest doesn't even come close to putting you in 100 matches. That was something you achieved through time spent roaming the game world, usually with a gang of friends riding along. It was fun. In year 2, the magic just kind of got worn off by the dull drudgery of the grind. My circle of friends shrunk. The raid, while fun, just wasn't rewarding enough to grind it out. The quests were bugged. All the excitement evaporated. That's what j meant when I said y2 MoT just seems empty. It's like going to college for a job that you hate just so you can eat some ramen every night.
