Metal is an extremely diversified genre of music, so I highly doubt you hate all of it. Don't believe me? Listen to Iron Maiden and then listen to Death. They're both metal bands, but they sound completely different. Also, the genre you're talking about is called screamo (I think). You won't find any skinny emo fags listening to Death or Iron Maiden, trust me.
