That explains a couple of the other responses I've gotten.
I have listened to Metallica and a couple other bands, just not regularly.

Yeah we're quite a touchy bunch :P And Metallica are good but they're a bit overrated imo, try not to go for the very mainstream bands because people get very overhyped about songs that aren't very beginner friendly.
