*Crossbow attempts to avoid, but gets caught by the blade*
*A figure forms from the ground not far from you*

[b]Ember sees the figure through the corner or her eye. She swings her sword in a wide arc around her, creating a shockwave around her.[/b]

*The figure jumps up, and so does Crossbow. Cross doesn't seem to notice him, and fires a few rounds at you*
-
[b]Ember draws a dagger, and a pink ring forms around it. In the blink of an eye, she throws it at Crossbow.[/b]

*The dagger lands between two of Crossbow's ribs. He fires a lot more rounds at you, circling you to make it harder to hit* *The figure looks as if it wants to fight too*
-
[b]The dagger violently explodes, knocking everyone caught in the radius back.[/b]

*Crossbow now has a large hole between his ribs.* *The figure walks up* Come on, Cross, if you're gonna fight against someone, learn what they have before fighting them. *The figure eyes you* Name's Mortar.

[b]Ember groans as she gets up.[/b] "Ember."

Not a bad name. I'm up for a fight if you have enough in ya

[b]Ember struggles to her feet as 2 more daggers materialize in her sheathes.[/b] "I guess I do."

Alright. *Mortar turns around to reveal many throwing knives on his back*

[b]Ember activates a dagger, and a grey ring forms around it. She throws it at Mortar.[/b]

*Mortar dissolves into the ground and reforms behind you, kneeing you in the back*

[b]Ember rolls forward to avoid the attack.[/b] "Everyone's got a gimmick now..." [b]She draws her other dagger, and a gold ring forms around it.[/b]

A Gimmick? Wouldn't consider that one... *Mortar blocks it with his sword*

[b]Ember throws the dagger at full force.[/b] [spoiler]Didn't use it yet.[/spoiler]

*NOW he deflects it, then throws the sword at you, it becomes smaller until it is a throwing knife flying right at you*

[b]The dagger creates a spherical field around Mortar on contact, nullifying his abilities.[/b] "Let's see how you do without them."

Damn, good thing this sword thing isn't exactly an ability. *Mortar puts his hand between his shoulder blades, and his sword forms in his hands* I love my weapon tattoos

[b]Ember draws her sword.[/b] "Two can play at that game."

*When Mortar's sword fully forms, it ignites in green flames* Yea, one more thing, I throw more than throwing knives. *A large iron ball forms in front of Mortar, and it flies towards you*

[b]Ember dashes forward with inhuman speed.[/b]
-
*Mortar jumps to the side and slashes upward*
-
[b]Ember slashes downward with great force.[/b]

*Mortar parries, the heat from the blade seems to catch some of your fabric on fire*

[b]The fire burns for a second, then subsides. Ember activates her sword, and a black ring appears around it.[/b]
